TO ME THIS IS 'A TASTE OF HONEY'S' BEST JAM EVER! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BIG HIT, BUT FOR SOME REASON IT DID NOT HAPPEN. THE BASE RIFFS ARE OFF THE CHAIN! THESE TWO LADIES DID THEIR THING ON THIS ONE IN 1980! I LOVE THIS SONG!
Before Positive K even sniffed this song, it was sampled by rap pioneers, The Funky 4 + 1 More in "It's The Joint". Give credit to the original old school hip-hop artists.
I sold a Near Mint white label promo 12" of this record for $125 on Ebay back in 2004. I think I got $5 for "Do It Good" and couldn't even get $4 for "Boogie Oogie Oogie"!!
I remember this was playing one day and this dude was dancing and this dopesta sucka punched a dude who was dancing with some girl just stole on the dude and and then clothesline the woman that was with dude it was crazy and this song was playing at the club that was crazy.
This R&B dance track from these two beautiful women is one of my favorites from them, and after almost three decades, this one can still make you boogie, quality 80's dance track!!
One of them jams you listen to when you get your car washed!!
