@Tillysouth i think the mistake is yours......behind the man is another brother who is about to go into sajda which suggests that the man in the picture has just gone into sajda.......as you would know you put your forehead on the ground before your nose so it seems as if the man is about to put his nose on the ground. And Allah knows best
@tillysouth Please Stop trying to be the judge of how one prays and picking out little things, That is the problem We Muslims face today too many in our ranks thinking they all little "sheikh's it's not the problem from outside it's within and once we eradicate our silly little things we can look at the bigger picture.
@didz12345 your nose should touch the ground its part of salah and there isno difference of opinion amongst the fuqaha, “I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones: the forehead – and he pointed to his nose – the hands, the feet and the ends of the feet (i.e., toes).”
Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

assalamuaylykum manshallah what a nice and outstanding recitation and the meaning of the ayah too subhanallah may allah make us muslims the ones who drink of from the cup and the water of kafur allahu akbar and make us those who feed the orphans for the sake of Allah Amin manshallah truely the words of Allah are beautiful and heart touching
Im sorry about my previous comment... I was listening for the reciting from my laptop's speakers which are broken the voice was a little more deeper than nassir.. but once i wore my headphones the sound was clearer this is Nassir Al Qutami ... and sorry again..subhan allah
Realize this, Allah is comprised of Al-Lah, the One. The still ancient name of God, know in christianity as I AM or O ON. It is very much a continuation of the same God. But Allah emphasis this oneness, that because we are all one human persona, one supreme culmination of existance. Thus by denying Allah, This ONENESS, we deny ourselves, our existance, and thus are condemned to eternal loss. This is the hate refered to, it is a denial of who we are through denying the Supreme, The Merciful
the reason for the We (i was curoius myself) we is the strongest from I and is a first person plural. refering to allahs powers, kindness, glory etectera.
How do i start? 1st off let me say you don't know how bad I feel for you. You've been mislead its not my belief. Rather the truth. Man I just pray Islam is introduced to you respectfully and you accept it respectfully. You've been mislead by the forefathers of the christian religion. Which bible do you follow any way? Wow doesn't that just prove your religion? The matter of WHICH BIBLE!? Isn't it astounding?
By the way I took a dars (class) on the word nehnu because it was confusing for us in the Masjid to understand what does it mean exactly. Nehnu really means us but in the Quran it is intended to be as a type of glorification to show you how powerful and just he is. For example like the sister said cops say it or people of government. Thank you and once again I really feel bad for you man I really do. Do you find it a coincidence that Islam is the fastest growing religion? Can you explain that???
That's the problem right there, too much love and faith but no punishment for the wrong-doers. Hence you have millions of blind followers thinking they will get a free ticket to Heaven regardless of their actions, treatment of others and character. I will assure you Heaven is something that one needs to work extremely hard for; there are no free tickets.
i accept that i need to work for my Heaven. but, not in the way of Hatred all the World. & not in the way of killing other people which not going in my way. but, the Muslim thinking that they working hard to their Heaven by Killing other Religion & killing other People. thanx, i don't want that
well, hey. I was raised christian and am now considering taking the shahada. Your argument is valid, there is a lot of hate and destruction in the Quran. But let us not forget that in the Bible God destroyed sodom and gomorrah and was mostly vengeful in the old testment. He was only loving when he was 'incarnated' as Jesus (sallallahu alayhim wa salaam). St. Paul seems to have no problem saying that homosexuals are condemned to hell along with other ppl.
he decide for himself, who is the sinners. & what their punishment. all the time talking about PUNISH, & SINNERS, except the Bible that talking about LOVE & how to be nice to each other. how can GOD replace something like BIBLE to the Quran. which is talking always about HATE, & Death. which it means it is someone Bored which don't have any knowledge about the life have wrote this Quran.
Masha'Allah his voice makes you feel very emotional.May Allah have mercy on him and ease alakhirah on him as well as on you(gulam028).JazakAllahukhair for posting this

We are not God
Allah is unique and does not consist of parts, i.e. the creation

WaSalaam,
Well many times in the Quran, there are stuff that read as "We are..."
Eg - Surah 95, Verse 4-5:
"Certainly We created man in the best make. Then We render him the lowest of the low."
- Can you explain that? I ask out of curiousity.

In English they say: how ARE youy?
In French They say: Comment ALLEZ-VOUS?
Notice the use of 'ARE' in the english language while addressing a single Person.
Notice Also the usage of VOUS which is the plural form while addressing a Single person.
