Magaloff ist hervorragend. Er zeigt z.B. in der Kadenz (1. Satz) dass Tempo nicht alles ist. Auf die Spannung, die Dramaturgie kommt es an. Er ist Herr der Technik, nicht von Technik getrieben. Das ist Persönlichkeit

it is so beautiful - the way he articulates the tapestry and textures of sound as if they are spider webs glistening in the moonlight in the 2nd mvt...without ever sounding "notey" ...so "old style" in that approach, and as if he is just entertaining himself even as his sound "speaks" to the audience.

Dire Superbo è poco! Un'interpretazione stupenda. Le mani sono come 'svincolate' dal corpo e si muovono con destrezza sulla tastiera. La posizione del corpo, signorile e composta. GRANDE !

A great pianist and musician. Just look at his posture at the piano - technically perfect. A gorgeous sound. Beautiful phrasing. I think Magaloff was - and still is - greatly underrated.

@keybawd Indeed! his relation to the piano is as if the notes and music are merely "falling" out of his hands and fingers like rain -- some gentle drops, some sharp dops, some torrents of water...so UNaffected but the music sounds through.
