i have a question about your hypercharger. with most custom Air intakes that expose the air filter you cant ride in the rain, i learned about that about 2 min into researching it for my first bike. what i dont know is if you cant take the hypercharger out in the rain? its a simple question probably an emphatic NO, but i also would like to know if you ever had a K&N filter and if you have is the performance upgrade better with the hypercharger?
I ran a switch on the frame of the bike near the ignition. It is pretty hard to see it...but still very easy to access while riding. It is wired straight to the battery. It took me about 3-4 hours...it was the first time for me to take my bike apart so I was careful. Could probably do it in about an hour now. I would highly recommend you do it yourself so you can determine perfect placement and take pride in your work. Dealer would just put them there...may not look as good and cost a lot more!
Kool look, planning to do hyper & led's this season on 1300c. Do the led's stay on when key is on or did you run a seperate on/off switch? Where did you wire them to, not sure if I want to do it or let dealer.
Yeah I did the LED's myself. I bought the red chrome led's on ebay for about 10 dollars. They easily were installed without any drilling or removal of the hypercharger. The wires come right out of the bottom of the hypercharger and then go back up under the gas tank to the bottom of the front seat to where the battery is located. I have 62 LEDS on my bike, and have parked it with the lights on to eat dinner and go to the movies for approximately 4 hours with no problem starting it back up.
Love you video. Watched it with a big grin on my face listening to that sweet twin tick over.

Did you do the LED set yourself? How hard was it to get the LEDs for the Hypercharger? Love the 2 into 1 exhaust. Getting ready to upgrade my 1800 N.
