  • What tuning do you use for the banjo?

  • @johnnugentiscool The banjo is in Double C tuning - gCGCD. Fiddlers usually play this tune in D with the banjo capoed up two frets.

  • You are so wonderful!

  • Awesome, really awesome! I have my Dad's 1924 Regal 4 string banjo and need a case for it so it doesn't get damaged from Colorado Dry climate, any other suggestions? Thanks Rod

  • @rodauen Thanks for commenting - we heat with wood and are always concerned about dryness in the winter. Annie keeps humidifiers on her guitars but the banjo doesn't require much attention. Keep an eye on the neck. If it has a truss rod you can adjust it to keep the neck strait. All the best,

    Mac

  • @jordanakajoejoe Thanks for your message! Just keep on pickin' - one day you will amaze yourself.

  • @MyBadplayer Thanks for the message, we appreciate your kind thoughts. Many years ago I heard a singer/musician being interviewed and she said "The more I practice, the luckier I get." I've had that saying written on my kitchen wall ever since.
