The Realtor/Seller/Buyer relationship is very simple. The Realtors primary interest is separating you from your money. The more you pay the more they make. It's that simple. With today's outrageous prices I do not believe thier consulting services, unless for a rich elite, are worth a 6% commission. This is just too much money. You're not a doctor. You're not a lawyer. Your a Realtor. I can only hope the Internet levels everything.
Like most people I view Realtors as being in the way. They simply do not deserve the commissions they recieve. They have been instrumental in the current housing bubble. They will say anything to make a sale. It's always in a Realtors best interests to make you pay the most money for your house. It's only a matter of time before the internet takes over; and Realtors are used soley for paperwork processing. As a buyer I hope this happens sooner than later.
