Matt Smith really shows off how good an actor he is in this scene. You can see the subtle changes in expression when talking to Amy and River because he trusts Amy and he's very concerned. Those eyes say everything he doesn't get a chance to say.

A summons is something used to summon someone to a certain place, like a letter.

In episode one, the TARDIS team recieve envelopes telling them to go to Utah America for an unknown reason.

Hence, "A mysterious summons".

i think river song was just a scientist who studied the doctor, and by telling him she knew him in his future she managed to make a relationship where before there was none. I think the only reason he knows her is because she says he does.

Matt Smith was bloody superb casting. Nails different elements of the Doctor in a way that most of the other actors only nailed a few. This guy here... he gets them all. Born for the role.

I cannot wait!!!! looks awesome.... I always said in season 5 Matt Smith was too comical and seemed like he knew nothing compared to Tennants Doctor and not as badass... now he seems to have gained badass and like the fire and ice or the 10th Doctor :) its going to be a great season I can tell :P
