As a guitarist, i can honestly say that this is the hardest song i have attempted to play. SRV's material is a lot harder to play than the vast majority of Zeppelin, ACDC, or Rush songs (and thats a lot coming from me because i am a massive Rush fan). He was one hell of a musician.

to like every comment on this video, i think its impossible to compare bands (except cover bands and the bands they are covering) everyone has something different. AC/DC are awesome. SRV is awesome. SRV plays blues. Depends what context you're referring too, SRV is a true bluesman whereas AC/DC is Blues Rock and they both use different style as SRV is primarily based on the blues scale and Angus uses the mixolydian frequently so in many regards his music is far more complex. Although theoretical knowledge doesn't always make a better guitarist, the ability to sound good playing different styles should be greater appreciated. which in my opinion Angus demonstrates more then SRV ever did.
