First of all it's funny that you're telling someone to use proper English when you yourself made two errors in that post alone. English is always to be capitalized and it's spelled "you're" not "your"...those are very basic concepts in which I was able to grasp in the third grade. Second of all Malcolm X had every reason to hate white people after they not only killed his father but also drove his mother insane. It's more justified than hating for the sole purpose of skin colour.

If you believe that then you miss Malcolm's point. King fought the wrong way. Malcolm was the most feared man in the U.S.! They marched and they still bombed the churches, The blk pwr movement was power for all people. King led many to their deaths, he realized what works in the south dont work in the north. America feared malcolm more than king. The gave him the nobel and we got the hell. if we all blind we all even.

I wouldn't have been able to be so calm about it. I would have fought back at those who hurt me and my people. Unfortunately I'm white, so I don't even have anyone to fight against to win my freedom. As far as society is concerned, I am not oppressed and have every chance at having a good life. My oppressor is invisible, but just as real as any other. But in my opinion, whites don't oppress, blacks don't oppress. PEOPLE OPPRESS! If whites are evil, then I'm evil, so how could I sympathize?

If you were oppressed, would you not be angry too? If you got hate more often than not from another race, and were treated unfairly for no reason, wouldn't you want to fight back? You're right, he was not encouraging the best way, but under so much of this bullshit blacks were going through, it was probably to hard to just sit down anymore and let it happen. Eventually people get fed up. Look at the amount of restraint he had already, to speak clearly, calmly and not fly off the handle.
