While I have no sympathy for the rioters, it's true that the bankers who have led our world to ruin are living luxurious lifestyles on their ill-gotten gains.
Nothing short of stripping their assets and giving them all life sentences will do.
David Cameron and Rupert Murdoch should both stand trial as well.
Justice a function of public opinion? Is that why banking,financial criminals get off so easy? And members of parliament who misused (stole?) public money for their 'expenses' (TV's, swimming pools, roofs etc)? I don't recall seeing many of them in shackles or in jail. Public opinion is an interesting thing.
