My wife and I met both hadyn and his mom at a Willie Nelson 4th of July concert around 2005 or so.. He's a really nice guy. We ran into them several times afterwards at various Aslp at wheel concerts.. Wife has since passed away, haven't seen him in a while

I admit, I am not all that big on Freddy Fender, but I will listen to him. By the same token, I wasn't real big on Asleep at the Wheel, even though they played every Friday night in Austin and I lived there at the time.
