  • This is different than what I learned. A lot tighter and more-so awkward too..

  • MA I COLPI NN DOVREBBERO ESSERE UN PO +...DURI?

  • @raffycap81

duri non è proprio il termine adatto :)

  • Very nice. The best chum kiu form on youtube.

  • @fjufinj no :)

  • Very nice. The best chum kiu form on youtube.

  • come dopo pochi mesi?

  • @criceto

gli elementi fondamentali per una difesa piuttosto efficace si possono ottenere abbastanza in fretta, è chiaro che un a base di autodifesa non è la completezza di un'arte marziale

  • Ahhh Wing Chun, a pointless silly martial art designed for women!!!

  • @sebs30v shut your mouth and learn respect before you start disrespecting a Legendary Style

  • thanks =)

  • this is not kata, this is technique form...

  • much more logical.thanks for the vids

  • first of all a hundred kata's can not come close to the 3 boxing form of wing chun thats why its so darn hard to get it just right,it take some real work to get the perfection or just right wing chun is the righteous

  • Great love how you bring your elbows into your center line! Beautiful structure and execution.

  • You are like dancing...Wing chun require inner power...THE FORCE !!!

  • each sifu teaches the forms with a bit of themselves in it. very rare to see two forms from two schools exactly the same

  • Her pivoting is almost contagious, but it's an alright vid

  • very nice and precise demonstration

  • People can be judgemental, whatever happened to art is personal expression and interpretation. Great form in my opinion.

  • shes really alluring!

  • she has not a straight spine!big mistake!

  • @dragob732 HOORAY!! thank god someone knows something!

  • Nice execution!!

  • wow wat the heck happened to the form and proper power??????????

  • This is a nice version of the second form of this schools Wing Chun.

She has good focus, is relaxed and has much better balance than I have.

40 years of training I have to draw upon, therefore kudos to her.

  • @jeetkunedo57

    many thanks

  • @jeetkunedo57 you are joking right?

If you had 40 years training experience you would have picked out many more things than I and ive only had 8 years experience with wing chun. By the time I have reached 28 seconds in I can pick 10 problems already.

  • @gambleyourhealth

    you are good , congratulations

  • @clairative im sorry, i am not trying to discourage you, just merely pointing out that the other commenter definitely does not have 40 years training.

Your form is good for someone of your level and it can only improve. In fact even after 40 years it will improve. The great thing about wing chun is that it is a fast learning curve and you will get good really quickly. In fact if this vid was 2007 you should already be much better than you were in this video.

    Train hard, train well.

  • @gambleyourhealth

sorry, poor understanding of English:) I agree with you

  • @clairative No apology needed, I should have been clearer in my statement.

Peace, I hope your training is going well.

  • @gambleyourhealth

very well thanks, I hope the same for you

  • I don't understand the basic body structure on this variation of the form. Seems unstable as the weight is for the most part on one leg only and the body is bent. Can you explain to me the concept behind it?

  • @petithobbit the reason why this looks pretty unstable is because she's doing it wrong. Your body isn't supposed to bend over. it should stay in an upright position while your whole weight rests on your rear leg. other than that standing with your full weight on one leg is not that much of problem. with a little bit of training you can stay balanced and stable.

  • An interesting style indeed.

  • THis is really bad. The pivoting is the worst I have seen.

  • I've heard it's good, but from what I can see, it seems that one doing this form isn't well rooted. And the posture...

  • epic fail!

  • is your opinion...

  • It is very good actually!

  • I think this sifu is very competent; and know if in Italy she would make my A list of top flight teachers.

  • opinioni....

  • più che altro direi, constatazioni!

  • ripeto: opinioni :)

  • What about the music ? Thanks a lot!

  • But a form without life....

  • @logfiler

    please explain =)

  • @jfuya2000

    what?

  • @clairative

I was asking Logfiler to please explain what he or she meant by "But a form without life..." I do not understand that saying.

  • @jfuya2000

    :-)

  • Nice to see a Wing Chun form done in the elegant and smooth style it was intended to be performed in. After all this style is ultimately a fighting system designed for women.

  • Alot of people seem to think that but in fact ng mui was just the only surviving elder of the temple that was destroyed.

Ving Tsun was developed by 5 masters of the Southern shaolin to over throw a corrupt government. But they were sold out then Ng Mui escaped to a Taoist mountain where she saw a young girl who needed help to not marry the local war lord. So Ng Mui taught Yim Wing Chun this system.

that's per Grand master William Chun.

    learn your history.

  • im going through southern mantis right now which is very similar to wing chung i guess you would say the younger sister to it.. its intense there are many applications in real life combat its an amazing system

  • echt super, genau wie bei uns... LG

  • meinst du etwa leung ting ???

  • yea i agree with the fella below, its side ling not side lean!!, but very good otherwise

  • Nice form. The only comment I have, coming from a background that focuses on Ki development, is that your posture is a little toward the back and your center of gravity is shifted toward the rear. This might reduce your power and stability. Besides that, you have a relaxed, centered and soft form, which is what Wing Chun is about.

  • i find the wing chun forms very interesting, but i don't know how they are applied in real combat, can anyone direct me to some website or video that shows how the forms are applied in combat.

i'm not trying to be sarcastic i'm genuinely interested.

  • It is not easy to explain. The forms movements have infinite applications. It can be understood only studying well the style.

  • I know this is a bit of a late reply but, the wing chun forms are like the alphabet and each move in the form is a letter. (There isnt a particular reason for the priority of moves in the form.) Carrying on you have to imagine a fight is like a spelling contest, you learn letters from from the alphabet and letters teach you words. Understand?

  • Great form, Nice work & thanks

  • instead of putting her down, why don't you sods, get a video of your own along with a pair of balls and post something so we can all see your perfect technique.. Sadly to say I doubt you could stand up to the same scrutiny.

  • This ladies energy, flow and technique look fine. for those of you out there that find fault, get a video and a pair of balls and put your own on here. Then let's see your perfect technique. If you don't have the balls to put it out there, then shut the F&*K up.

  • Lovely form, lovely posture and a lovely girl. Thanks for sharing.

  • Irrespective of Style or body dynamics this is a good demo of the Chum Kiu Form. Anyone ever wondered that that's exactly what it is a demonstration to show the Chum Kiu Form. Movements are correct and fluid, good show I say. We should encourage one another not put down.

  • What you say is true, her movements are controled, she isn't holding her breath, and the look in her eye she is seeing someone attacking her. Perhaps an exboyfriend, to bad for him, she is kinda cute.

  • leung ting school....

  • so what?

  • Quote: so what? It's not so different than other lineages and it's a direct line of GGM Yip Man :P

  • pretty weak form, no structure or firmness to it.

  • looks good who taught u? your style of wing chun looks fluid and simular to how my teacher teaches me

  • chi mi ha chiamato? =)

  • un giorno saro' in grado di farla cosi bene??????????:-(

  • her wrist in bong sau still tense, just a thought.

  • Nicely done! I especially like her stances, they have life/proper tension when she is moving.

  • no offense but no there is no Life and no body dynamics here.
