@flamingsnot - If I had an autoshotgun then I'm sure I wouldn't have to worry about their fists.

These guys are actors who only propagate lala-land legends about Shaolin monks - and it is fun to watch this silly stuff. But get a reality check - men cannot really be immune to a puncture from a real spear (unless they're wearing good body armor) and they cannot jump 10 feet in the air (unless they're pole-vaulting).

If a lion attacks at you, and you have an assault rifle with you, you wouldnt be in trouble. Now lets see you without the assault rifle. You would be dead for sure.

@Sutinennn - I agree - without a weapon I most likely would be dead - all I could do is pray to God and pray that the lion is not too hungry. I guess that is one advantage man has over a lion - we can make tools or weapons which can help us defeat a lion.

By the way - do you think that a real Shaolin monk would stand a chance against a lion with bare hands?

No, I dont think so. Doesnt matter how good you are in fighting, a lion would still kill you :D

@Sutinennn with a proper bolt-action, you'd be fine. You dont need an automatic assault rifle, to face down a lion, or a robber. A pistol would do fine against the robber;a hunting rifle would do fine against the lion. The AR is just overkill. And dangerous if you ever go insane and decide to wipe out a mall full of people. :/
