The only game I found usefull for voice recognition is Swat 3 (no not 4). Since I used the arrow keys for forward etc I had to move my hands to the 1 key area to give commands. Some times when I did this a enemy poped into my sights and I got killed.
So, instead of that I sat up this really alabarte setup with the old GameVoice program.
Example: Red team. Flash and bank. (or) Move and clear. It worked pretty well because unlike most times it this time it was faster.
My experience when you started to use LOADS of voice commands was that it was wise to use more than one word for each command and keep the commands to stuff a bit out of reach. Unlike say left mouse button.
This is because some words my sound similar to the computer and the wrong action might be executed. Example: reject vs eject :D
On confirmation its best to have something short. I used a confirmation blip for fast actions that just told me "out of game" the software understood it.
e-Speaking is actually a pretty decent voice command program. I was honestly surprised by it. Not as good as Dragon Naturally Speaking, but a hell of a lot cheaper, lol. It's free for the first 30 days, but after that, if you want to add or edit commands, it's just $14 for the license to activate that part of the program.
I'd still rather have my trusty keyboard and mouse. TIll this is completely worked out and It can recognize things OTHER than the exact same tone of voice I'll be happy.

@SpartanGIS2 No, it just ads to the effect that you can speak and the game will do what you say. After all, this is a futuristic sci-fi game

They need to put this speech recognition in a submarine game or a star trek type game where you're the captain on a bridge of some ship.
it doesnt make sense why youd have it like this for a small fighter craft.

e-speaking is stand-alone voice recognition software. In other words, the voice recognition is not party of the game. Use it wherever you like.
