  • I wouldn't have called DeLorean a 'star'..!

  • The beginning was a little strange, but overall, very nice.

  • We will never have actors like this again if they keep letting in the wrong ones..

  • I noticed most of these star died in their 40s-50s..must be tough being a star :(

  • MJ? I am having doubts on his 'death'.

  • You missed Sammy Hagar... ooops, he never was a star.

  • @MrVHWolf ...didn't die either, so. Yeah, no.

  • @drtyfknmouth Sammy Hagar died about 20 years ago. He's playing dive bars in a band called "Chickenfoot".. I kid you not.

  • @MrVHWolf HAH!

  • My badd its 92 my apologizes

  • I don't think Sam Kinison died in 92 more like 2000 I believe

  • @kaoicdjsmixes No, he died on April 10, 1992 in a tragic car accident. He was thrown thrown through the windshield and had no seat belt on. The drunk teenagers hit him. He was still alive for a few min. and engaged in a short conversation with someone on the other side. Then he was gone!

  • where is... ronnie james DIO and Freddie Mercury

  • Simple Minds - Don't You (forget about me) very good song!!!!

  • Good Video. I watched it with a tear in my eye.

  • 1:06 is Matthew Brodrick

  • still missin Mj :(

  • the media made jacko out to be so much more important then he was. and that same media lied about jim and tammy faye bakker having dogs in gold dog houses as a way to take them down and make housebound people watch the black lesbian oprah instead.

  • WOW I forgot that so many wonderful celebrities died so soon!

  • John Ritter...simply one of the BEST! Miss you John...R.I.P. buddy

  • @favre16 loved him. "With love and laughter, John Ritter."

  • JOHN HUGHES! your the man! Your movies live on and some have become 80s cult clasics. Thank You!

  • no Steve Clark ?

  • ...btw, where's FREDDIE MERCURY?

  • RIP John DeLorean - the creator of the 80s icon and the time machine. Thank you for giving the world your fulfilled dream.

  • R.I.P John Ritter he is in 8 simple rules!! i watch that show every day!!

  • John ritter died cuz his Aorta split totally out of his control

  • great job R.I.P Who sing this song?

  • @Lovejoyfanatic the band is called Simple Minds

  • It is just sad John Candy and John Ritter died at such a young age. They clearly did not take care of themselves.

  • @mccommas2 I thought John Candy was overweight (if I remember correctly) but I thought what John Ritter died of was a fluky (sp?) heart situation more than something that he did something intentionally unhealthy/bad for himself.

  • @AnneLiesveld He looked deadly ill when I saw him on Hollywood Squares. He clearly needed to be seeing his doctor. Maybe he was, I don't know.

  • it was all very good, but i am just wondering where is michael landon (1936-1991) and robert urich (1946-2002). they are 2 stars that was a big part of my 80s. just wish you could have slid them in somewhere. i can remember being so upset when landon passed away, i cried for days. maybe you can make a part 2.

  • That was such a nice tribute to the 80's. I miss those days. May those souls still entertain on the other side.

  • One woman.

  • Great video! I liked John Ritter , he was such a great actor. One of my favorite movies with him is problem child! Another movie that was good was Stay tuned. But my favorite tv series is three's company. It was the best. Another great actor was Ronald Reagan. There was a great comedy movie he was in called "John Loves Mary" it was hilarious. They don't make actors like these anymore. Nowadays everybody is like an assembly line, they all look the same, act the same and nothing stands out.

  • Props for having Cliff Burton and Randy Rhoads!

  • R.I.P Angels. We didn't lose anyone, we just gained more angels!:)

  • i feel sad

  • Ronald Reagan [R.I.P.] my hero

  • @EdwardBlackLove same here. but listening to his ignauration is scary as fuck cause everything he predicted on the wrong way to run things is unfolding before our eyes. we should lock every dumbass in a room for 10 hours and make people listen to Reagen speak. like when he was talking about if particular programs were instituted as a quick fix instant gratifaction to a major problem we would be fucked. it's so eerie you're gonna think stimilus package.

  • @EdwardBlackLove I was sad when the Reagan train had to stop @ 2 term junction. what made him so bad? was it Desert Storm something Quayle said I was too young to remember. but I think that people though shit wasn't getting any better after 12 years we were so damn close too to fixing the derailment left by Carter. and lo and behold leave it up to Clinton to fuck it up worse then Carter that JR was barely able to do any damage control. now over to Obama to finish off the job left by Clinton

  • @odog65 if we do survive past 2012 we could be fucked by 2040 if we again have a housing and unemployment crisis it will come back 10 fold that the depression of 1929 look like a joke

  • ok....i know im 11 yrs late, but i had no idea that the earnest guy, jim passed away.

  • Born in 1977', my generation (80's) seems to be slowly drifting away. I remember vaguely my parents speaking of old music like 50's and 60's music and the era and how it was dying. i know now what they felt like :) I will never forget the 80's and early 90's era, and growing up with these iCONS: Mj, John Candy, Corey Haime, Feldman, Swayze, Ritte, Hughes. "Time Machine come and find me please, and take me to the Center of the Earth, or 20,000 Leages under the Sea, until the Earth stands still

  • does anyone know why John Ritter died?

  • @crazycows01 "John’s condition was called an aortic dissection. It is a break in the main artery that carries blood from the heart. The lining of the aorta tears, separating the middle layer of the vessel wall from the still intact outer layer."

So sad... he was a great actor!!

  • RIP MJ - John Candy

  • All time favorite John Candy... One of the greatest men to hit Hollywood!

  • Luther Vandross was pretty popular in the 80's as well.

  • from michael jackon to miami vice the 80s was the last generation ever in pop culture music so was the movies and tv series of all timel

  • 1)i remember him 2)i remember him 3)i m not so sure 4)i know him 5)i remember him 6)i know him 7)sure i remember him 8)i know him 9)remember him 10)oh super man da da da daaaan classic one 11)familiar face i m not sure 12)i remember him 13)i remember him 14)and this one 15) and this one too 16)i m not sure 17)not sure again 18)not sure again 19)remember him i believe 20)not sure 21)i know him 22)are u kidding me so my point is that even i am 15 i know most of them, but other kids at my age dont
  • was steve clark in there? i didnt watch the whole thing..

  • FALTA RONNIE JAMES DIO

  • FUCK REAGAN!!!!

  • MJ isn't dead. You got punked....lol

  • Very Nice.

  • @1:14...Ronald Reagan was our president in our 1980's to 1990.

  • ....u forgot river pheonix

  • @bridget9880 I wouldn't put River Pheonix on the list because he did himself in with drugs.

  • poor choice of music

  • @philgee72 Yes, Simple Minds would not have been the group I would have chosen for the music.

  • My favs...SRV, Richard Pryor and Johnny Carson..Great Talent that is missed

  • Props on adding Cliff, not enough people realize how talented he was.

  • reagan p.o.s.

  • Dolnt forget Jani lane!

  • so all the good ones are dead?!

  • SRV... always in my heart

  • how did John Ritter die?

  • @carosweetheart1993 Aortic dissection (heart failure).

  • @carosweetheart1993 in 2003 there was one day in 8 simple rules rehearsal where he was feeling very ill which led him feel even worse few weeks later and at that point he died in the hospital in 2003

  • @sweetgirlygirl93 from a steady tear in his aorta.

  • @sweetgirlygirl93

    :( thats really sad

  • i was doing a project about him in class years ago

  • Princess Diana should be in there

  • @sandrapoet Princess Diana died in 1997. You retarded fuck.

  • @TheUnreaI and Rodney Dangerfield died in 2004, and he's in there you retarded fuck, what's y our poing?

  • Respond to this video... Ronald Reagan died in 2004, and he's on there , Christopher Reed died in 2004 in fact the bulk of those stars died after the 80's Diana got married in the 80's, she was the star at the time

  • @TheUnreaI This video is dedicated to the deceased people who was popular in the 80s, not died in the 80s. Princess Di was part of the 80s pop culture!

  • Fuck reagan....... No president deserves to be listed anywhere. Except maybe a list of big cocksuckers that fucking lie and deserve to die. Right beside the rest of any political figure and cops. Fuck them. Anytime i hear about a cop dying, I fucking celebrate for a second. Not much longer than that though. Don't want to give them too much recognition, even if it's praising their death. Fuck you if you read this and you're a cop...... or a president or politician. FUCKYOU.

  • @FUCKYOUIAMOVER18 Your a nice guy.

  • @FUCKYOUIAMOVER18 -that was some funny shit you wrote, but all cops are'nt bad and we definitely need them. but fuck any political figure, politician, and other goons that fuck the american people with their lies and cover ups.

  • CLIFF BURTON!!!!!! one of my insperations to pick up the bass

  • @argumentsucks die devil bird!

  • @argumentsucks Same here

  • omg you turned me sad with it!

  • I liked both John Candy and John Ritter; they both made me laugh!!

  • very cool but i feel like i wanna cry when i see this...makes me miss my dad even more too.

  • Well Done

  • Well done! Love how you squeezed Jim Henson in and cool wrap-up with MJ and Reagan.
