It is not a touch screen... as you are using cam and the programming you use here is not sensing but computer vision algorithms...

so it is thereby a device which is similar to microsoft's surface table.

@tazko10 I have been looking into building one of these for a long time. Two questions though. Will it work with the native Multi-touch support in Windows7? And the other question is can the system recognize and respond to objects placed on it like with the Microsoft Surface (Via optical codes)? Only other question is about where you got those Infrared LED arrays, Please reply, thanks.
