Time for a history lesson. The regular Gigan you saw is the PS2 version of GU. The GFW version is in the Wii version. You see, Atari quickly threw the PS2 version together by recycling the stuff from the previous game Godzilla Save the Earth. So that is why you see the regular Gigan in a GU environment. Class dismissed.

1. Pokemon is Nintendo, while Atari is the company making the Godzilla games.

2. All the Pokemon are too small. Not even Wailord, the largest Pokemon, is big enough.

They handeled the releases to the Japanese Pokemon movies ONLY. Not the anime itself, and aside from that they don't OWN anything Pokemon. Just released the movies. The Pokemon Company takes care of everything else, including the production of the films. It would be either Universal (King Kong), or Deiei (Gamera) that they would work with. Zilla is technically owned by Toho, as it is a redesigned Godzilla, much like Nintendo owns Donkey Kong despite Rare redesigning him.
