  • Ummmm at 24:0 u don't have to lean back so far that jump wasn't that high... Js

  • Sorry hit the wrong button, I think u and your horse would be happier if u closed your hip angle more and gave to your horses face

  • You are a good rider, but I think you and your horse would be m

  • @bluequeen3 fuck U, don't care about your opinion you ass hole!

  • @ReginaTullio you speak english?

  • Gostei... saltas bem xD

  • It reaaaalllllly irritates me when people ride with their hands in their laps and their legs too far forward and catch the horse's mouth on every fence...

  • not very good riding

  • You are not even two-pointing. Thats a preety BIG thing you should be doing

  • You were on the wrong lead, which is terribly bad for the horses legs ESPEICALLY jumping. I'm surprised he did not break or hurt his leg. No rudeness intended here, but you really need to work on your leg before you even begin to jump. Your lower leg is swinging constantly which kills your seat. Also, your jumping position is not really a position at all. More of just going out of the saddle a little. If you work on your leg and seat, I'm sure you'll be a great rider.

  • @luvseldem95, says it on her channel, BRAZIL!!

    :}

  • @KelseyKayeRoss being on the wrong lead doesn't make you get left behind....

  • :O what language? And WHAT COUNTRY?!?! It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • that horse is beautiful <3

while your jumping instead of popping up like in trot pop up a bit and lean forward

    great vid :)

  • @DaisyPanda123 I love your description 'popping up' hehe ^-^

  • hahahaha ino lol

but just try it and you'll think YAY! hahahaha

  • @DaisyPanda123 haha :D

  • your terrable, nevr meant to be on a horse, EVER

  • Nossa, eu achei ela muitoo boa.. nem achei defeitos! Mas tambem eu não sou muito observador! xD

    Parabens!

  • Are you brazilian because i am Half american half brazilan let me tell you a lesson!!!

  • i would stay in light seat meaning your almost in 2 point but ur buts off the saddle and ur umm front bottom is still connected to the saddle its eaiser to get to 2 point from then or if there is a one/2/4 stride or bounce ill stay in 2 point itl not confise the horse

  • u need to work on yer jumping position , yer just standing up when the horse jumps and that can be dangerous , i have been riding for 8 years . i have my own horse and i have showed in more shows than u can count so i think i know what im talking bout

  • @iluvjustinbieber2197

Dude, this vid's 6 years old, and she's 11/12 in this. Get a life, I know this girl IRL, she's amazing now.

  • you need to do your jumping poistion more as you lean in your hopping nd that can make the horse calapse, and you need not to kick the horse every sec.

nd keep you weight in the saddle nd not too bumpy!

  • you need to do your jumping poistion more as you lean in your hopping nd that can make the horse calapse, and you need not to kick the horse every sec.

nd keep you weight in the saddle nd not too bumpy!

  • Keep your legs snug, take position longer over the jumps, keep your reins short, and look up!

  • im not trying to be rude but..

you were on the wrong leg which made you get left behind over the jump, you need to learn to release because if you keep jerking on the reins when jumping hes not going to want to do it.. your problem with the 2 point position just try walking, trotting and cantering around in your 2 point..

just sit like a duck = 2 point position.

    i learnt like that.. (:

    good luck!! :DD

  • yeah your on the wrong lead. your seat looks nice at the canter but your 2-pt is reeeeeeally bad. your not releasing his/her head and that makes the bit really uncomfortable and pulled. Your trainer needs to have you trotting over poles until your position is correct. myrockstar96, this is a hard sport and you have to be flawless to be safe and successful.

  • you jumping on the wrong lead!

  • Your instructor shouldn't allow you to jump on the wrong lead....

  • i have a question why being on the wrong lead changes the way you jump how would the horse know?? Im wondering because i never knew why

  • wrong lead=dangerous...

    poor jumping position= dangerous...

  • yep! she had both those things!

  • Btw

    greatt horse

and you are really good :)

    and you WILL get better

  • ok its a lesson ppl So why dont you all stop critisizing thats not your job! Shes LEARNING!!!!!!!!!! I bet all of you used to ride like that and prolly still do! Horseback ridding is NOT a easy thing to do SO LEAVE HER BE!!! And let her coach teach her Not any of you have the right!
  • Try to get into your 2-point more, because when you land, you are jerking the horse in the mouth.

  • you were on the wrong lead

  • @xOrlandoandKeirax It doesn't matter, going over jumps, the horse can change lead anyway.

  • Wrong lead.....

  • k not meanin to be rude but y u not in 2 point? plus, your horse is on the rong lead. u may want to work on this b4 u strt jumpin. btw, pretty horse!!! XD

  • there is this thing called 2point, u should try it.

  • tht last jump wuz fuuunny! keep up the great work and u hv a beautiful horse so cute and very very um wuts the word energetic both of u ;-)

  • I really do not mean for this to be rude, but you may want to watch your horses leads. It will teach him/her really bad habbits especially if you plan on showing with him.

    Great riding though!

  • its bad for you to canter alll that on the rong lead. it causes the horse to think that that is ok... and that is really bad...

  • why arent you in your 2-point? pretty horse btw.

  • Comment removed

  • thats a really pretty horseee, and a great jumper, but your not in your 2 point...at all.

  • omg that horse is amazinggggg!

  • really nice lol! What language is it? I can translate it from a dictionary :-p. By the way, just try to get more of a 2-point, get your heels down, and watch your leads ( acouple were wrong, but idk). Anyway, nice job!

  • huh thats funny i have no idea what that guy said or your comment on ur video hehe

  • shouldnt she be in 2-point ?

  • those are really nice jumps. The jumps I go over are homemade, lol, wooden poles and 2 buckets.

  • you look good.

my only advice is to when going over your jump, bend a little more in your 2-point. it kinda just looks like your just standing.

  • There is no way in hell that this is your first lesson i ahve been riding before i could walk or talk and i dont have a trainer but in have and my first lesson i learned how to tack up and brush! way too much for yuro first lesson you need to work on your two point and not rushing the jumps i mean seriously is your trainer stupid?! it could hurt the person or even worse hurt the horse!!!!!!!!

  • um she probably meant her first JUMPING lesson where she got to do more than one jump, cause obviously she looks pretty steady in the canter and i've known ppl that have been taking lessons for 10 years and there 2 point doesn't look that great either god chill

  • She never said it was her first lesson... The Title says,"Horseback Riding Lesson" and that could mean she could have been riding for a year or 50! God, get a life.

  • shes good ive seen better but ncie job wats wit the spanish??

  • It's the language they speak :)

  • she makes jumping look easy :)

  • its hard to make it look hard ;) she looks pretty good I wonder how long she's been riding for?

  • lol she dosent.

shes just sitting the jump, shes not even folding..

  • hey horsie gal! its not her first lesson! smart one! her instructor would not do that there not stupid!!!!!!

  • guys...it doesn't say it's her first lesson.... learn to read first and then make comments....

  • why aren't you going into a two point over the jumps? that is so bad for your horse's back... learn how to ride properly..

  • Shut up okay? She did great! It's not always about perfection, you know. And it's not like she was just flopping around on the horse's back! She still held herself up and came down gently.

  • barely, but okay

and when it is concerning the horses' safety, it is about perfection

    kthanks

  • she's just learning you fag

  • it doesnt bother the horse, Im a pony club major alright... yeah she's not doing everything right, and whateve... but its not going to hurt a horse. she has a fine seat, the only thing conserning are her hands, but that takes TIME to get god at.

  • umm im startinf to belive this is ike "fake" obv i can see she ridding and i mean fake by its probly her 55th lesson to be cantering a cours and btw he form wasnt outta this world eighter

  • thats unreal, uve never been on a horse before and your even cantering off the lunge line? jumping? right...

  • wow! that is way toooo much when ib started i had to learn how to walk and trot. and that was even tuff for me to keep my heels down. but now i am in advanced jumping!

  • RELEASE!!!!RELEASE!!! poor horse......... i would have throw you if you got in my mouth like that sooo..........RELEASE!

  • WAY to much for first lesson! my first lesson i learrned hoe to walk and controll my horse. WOW!

  • *jaw drops*

FIRST LESSON?! My first five lessons I was only walking and learning how to turn and back and such correctly. WOW.

  • ok first lesson should start with like walking and maybe some troting not cantering or crossrail jumping way! 2 much for 1st lesson poor girl and like wow!

  • ya it is way to much for a first lesson ya and that girl should learn how to walk first.

  • ew. I have been riding for a while and I don't think she did that great...

  • what launguage is that because teh video info might explain something like maybe it her 21 no 1 lesson idk

  • that was not your fist lesson

  • it never said on the video that it was her first lesson O.o

  • what that cant be your first lesson! my 1st lesson i did walk and trot.

lol and no offence but you should learn 2-point before you try jumping, aside from that looking good :)

  • all i did was a sitting trot my first lesson and i even had previous horse experience!!

  • ok so um ya my first lesson i walked over poles and i hardly learded to trot with out almost falling.

  • that was your 1st lesson?!?!? eiter ur lieing (most likely) OR u are really good but i mean on my 1st lesson, i only trotted over a little cavileti pole and just a tip GO INTO 2 POINT OVR THE JUMP (JUDGES LIKE THAT) lol its ok u kno were friends and ur my BFF XYZ

  • No, she didn't do well at all. No one jumps on the first lesson. Her leg slips back on each stride her horse takes and her knees are gripping the saddle. It's ridiculous.

  • that looks like her 20th lesson not her 1st

i couldnt ride like that on my 1st lesson...i could hardly trot!!!

  • that is way too much for a first lesson, way too big and the first jumps are usually at a trot, beside you have way to good form for first and your timing if good.

  • how can that be your first lesson? thats too much for a first lesson, unless you have been riding before starting with that trainer

  • she doesnt even know how to do the two-point(the position when u go over jump) all she is doing is like posting when she is jumping

  • who jumps a course in their first lesson?

  • who canters their first either we barley got to trot on mine

  • i cantered in my 1st lesson even jumped some....but i had been riding rRockey Mt. horses before i swichted barns and i went to a camp to learn to jump but it had been like a year before i switched barns

  • nobody canters and jumps on their first lesson if they have a real trainer if you train yourself or have like freinds who aren't offical trainers then whatever but i am trained by a level 3 equestrian cretified trainer but a real trainer would NEVER do that

  • @caudaeequinaa where does it say its her first lesson?

  • @caudaeequinaa It might not be her first lesson.

  • @caudaeequinaa its not her first lesson lol

  • how can that be your first lesson? thats too much for a first lesson, unless you have been riding before starting with that trainer. great job anyway.

  • Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would just recomend doing a little more of a two point.

  • Who is her trainer?

  • OMG.. you guys speek portugues? im from Brasil!!!!

o meu primeiro cavalo que eu ganhei foi no brasil =X

  • you're jumping a course on your first jumping lesson?

  • find a new riding teacher poeple should NEVER do a coars for there first jumping lesson

  • well, It looks like she did okay.

  • you kind stand up in your position and give a release!

  • I think you should get rid of that instructor he does NOT KNOW WHAT HES DOING!!! first jumping lesson???? F*** thats to big the rider did an amazing job putting up with being struck into a pretty hard course of jumps as well as the horse who didn't get any release from her position!

  • I agree with her! It was way too big for the first lesson! Poor girl... My first horseback riding was very low! And only one jump at time !( I did 4 jump :) on that lesson )

  • agreed.. what the hell.. the trainer.. and this is not the 1st riding lesson..

  • how is that ur first lesson???U r better than me and I have been riding since I was 3

  • that is pretty good. but i don't think that doing that is going to help you down the road. If you keep doing that just like that you might get hurt

  • this is AMAZING for your first jumping lesson. i almost find it hard to believe. cantering your first course. another thing i find hard to believe. you need to work on your 2point, jumping position, hunt seat, whatever you want to call it

  • im only just starting jumping now and im doing the whole trot poles and two point.. no way in hell my trainer will let me go through a course at a canter, isnt that dangerous for both horse and rider?

  • Your first jumping lesson and cantering a course. the first think you should be doing is trotting through trot poles on the ground, then, when you have the rythm working on two point, and then working on two point while going over the ground poles. then you should work on little x-rails, and make sure you are in 2-point. give the horse release on the mouth and make sure you don't fall back or forward, hitting the saddle is hard on the horses back, and both ways you and the horse are off balance.

  • i must say, that was pretty good for her first jumping lesson!

but to be honest? cantering a course her first time? an absolute no-no! if you watch closely, she's giving no release causing her to tahc the horse's mouth while jumping. i'm surprised the horse didn't buck her off! i highly suggest getting a new instructor if he throws her right into an intermediate course. other than that, it was pretty good!

  • ok, i would compleatly start over (get rid of that instructor, for one, because he obviously doesnt know what having a 2point position when you jump means)and start the course in a trot. Do a few (like 3 at the most) jumps and do poles so you can get the right rhythm. Then, when shes amazing at troting the jumps, move to cantering only a few jumps, not a whole course! you need to start from the bottom up so that you arnt catching the horses mouth when you come off the jump. Good luck.

  • I agree!

  • @horselvrdressage

woops i meant to put thumbs up sry!

Yeah i agree with everything, i fela bad for that horse.... And all the otehrs

  • right a bit big for her first jump and no jumping position...

instructor obiously is not very good

    and cantering a course!?!?

a bit big for her first time jumping

in the stables i go to people jump just after they can trot properly and they are only poles on the ground!

  • that is not a way to jump for the first time. sart smaller way smaller. she needs to release and get into 2 point. she needs to learn to jump right then she has good potential

  • I completely agree.

  • amen!

  • I know this is an old video.. but I have to say, if her instructor has her doing this in her first jumping lesson, you need to do some serious rethinking about the person you've chosen. Instructors like that are just asking for their students to get hurt.

In any case, I say she has great potential. Find a better instructor! ^-^

  • this is good for her FIRST jumping lesson!!! however, she definatly shouldn't have cantered a whole course!!! no matter how easily she was picking it up she should have just trotted two or three jumps at the most. but thats not her fault, the trainer should have known better.

but very good for her first jumping lesson!

  • AAAAAAAah you daughter needs to go back to walk trot

  • seriously?! is your trainer on something because he obviously thinks you're ready to jump which you're not! One, you need to shorten your stirrups and get your ass out of the saddle and into 2-point. And you need to release to the horses mouth and stop catching him in the mouth! god damn!!

  • how long has she been doing horseback riding? and does she enjoy it. I might start soon!

  • you realy shouldnt be cantering a course for your (first time jumping) also get in your half seat

  • U really need to 2point and get off the horses back

  • she's not even two pointing...shes just sitting there...and if that really is her first jumping lesson the trainer isnt very bright. the first time jumping should be trotting little cross rails not doing a whole course cantering

  • i think the horse is doing all the work in this video, looking really hard at the rider, its easy to see that its her first jumping lesson

  • This rider needs to reposition her weight through her lower leg to lighten up her seat. She also needs to close her hip angle slightly, which will put her in "half seat" which is more appropriate for jumping. She should also shorten her reins and grab mane as she jumps, which will help her follow her horse's movement.

Her pace is very nice for a beginner, but I think she should put course riding on hold until she has fixed her position by riding trotting poles leading into a simple gymnastic.

  • umm...u guys its her 1st JUMPING lesson! she may have done a month's worth of groundpole exercizes prior to this. the cross-rails really aren't that big. thats about how high i jumped my 1st time. but she does need to lean forward a more and not hit the saddle...

  • omg thers no way tht was her FIRST lesson jumping!!

ive been having l jumping lessons for a year and im at the same sort of skill level as her!!! ON HER FISRT THT CANT BE RIGHT

  • wow its kinda hard to belive this is a first jumping lesson shouldnt u be starting off with poles???

  • Oh goodness o__O

I'm sorry but she's ASKING to get hurt..

She really should be doing at least trot/canter over ground poles before this.

  • who says she hasnt already done that? And also this obviously isnt the whole lesson. If shes picking it up easily and is a confident rider and going well theres nothing wrong with this

  • what dumb instructor would let someone have the jumps that height for there first lesson !? let alone make them do a course, the instructor should start with like pretty much a pole on the ground so them they don't get into bad habits!

  • uh? when yiu do 2point ovr the jumps dnt crash back on his back and ketch him in his mouth with the bit cause u do it alot and its really bad

  • Umm... First jumping lesson?? Shes jumping way to high and really shouldnt be cantering lines

  • exactly..she would be troting a small crossrail..not cantering a fairly good siazed..for a crossrail course!

  • your 2 point isent the best, but that was great!

good job with not pulling on his mouth!

  • really, all of you people who keep saying "heels down!" or whatever! im sure she has an instructor so be quiet! but is that really her first lesson?

    ~amanda(message me im bored!)

  • she did great for her first but she didnt two-point properly she just stood up. other than that, great job for your first jumping!

  • there is no way that was her first jumping

  • yeah lol i sed itwas gd for her jumping lesson nd i did read the info....

  • omg tht was actually really good for a first lesson

    well done!

  • umm if u read the info it was her first jumping lesson she proably worked on flat first

  • Well done!

  • I totally can't believe that was your first lessone...was ur instructor crazy to make you canter jumps that high on your first lesson...Did you mean it was your first JUMPING lesson?...but still I mean

  • my first english riding lesson EVER is today... any tips?

  • Not really...anyway since you wrote this comment 7 hours ago, you probably already went to the lesson...So it's useless...How did it go?

  • awesome!! lol! i got to canter on my first lesson because i got the posting down!

  • dont be scared...and keep your heels down!!!

  • Its better to say "toes up" rather than "heels down" because when you think of heels down you push your foot forward.

So point your toes up to the sky!

    x

  • well actually its better to say heels down, because you want to think about sinking your weight into your heels, which provides you with more balance.

  • That was probobly not her first time

  • What the heck! People dont have you jumping on your first horseback riding lesson! Whats up with that?

  • read the description it says "my daughters first jumping lesson"

  • good riding, keep it up!

  • Sometimes you forget your riding a horse and other times you think your riding an angels wings

  • that looks like about her 3rd Jumping lesson lol

  • Ok well you need to trot some SMALL jumps first then canter them then do all this! But good job!

  • Sorry, but your 1st ever lesson ? My 1st lesson all you did was a bit of trot and walk, you dont go cantering round a jumping course,,

  • I think it was her first JUMPING lesson.

  • I agree!

  • Good job for a first lesson, but she still have to learn much.

I remember my first jump, terrible. The horse was stopping four times, because i was afraid. Ghehe ^^

  • um im not her trainer obviously but i think your daughter should learn the basics like leads and two-point before she goes to an entire course

  • yea i agree learn the basics first

  • how is that her first jumping lesson? my first jumping lesson i did 1 fence MUCH smaller then that at a trot not canter?

  • u did good but u should lean in to it more and put ur hands more on his nck so tht u dont PULL on his mouth..belive me..i might be young(11)but i jump my horse Beau!!

  • You would want to put your hands up a little further on his neck so you don't yank his mouth. Cause in 0:44 you yank his mouth and then fell forward. Good Job though

  • so not her first lesson !

  • It says her first jumping lesson in the info/.

  • you have to improve your 2 point position over the jumps

otherwise, nice job for your first jumping lesson.

  • wtf why were u jumoing on ur first lesson?

  • the discription said it was her first lesson jumping:)

  • It says it was her first jumping lesson.

  • No one jumps in their very first lesson! And, you really should know the basics before jumping. Like, does she know how to post? What a Two-Point is? How to do that over a jump?

And, that stable is very risky to let their riders jump on the first lesson!

  • if u read the discription it says its her 1st jumping lesson

.....i was confused for a second too i thought it was her 1st lesson aswell :P
