Yes, Russell played a great stratigic game. He dominated stratigically from day one and kept everything all the way to the end. BUT, he didn't play a good enough social game. Mick sucked all around but Natlie's social game was supirior. She took it upon herself not to ride anyone off and be nice to everyone. and natalie's stradegy was to lay low and attach herself to the power player. Russ, on the other hand didn't and in the end was less favored by the jury.

WHO CARES ABOUT BEING NICE?!?! TRY ERIK, KELLY, LAURA, DAVE, MONICA, JAISON, AND BRETT! I'm sorry, but Russell didn't make ANY personal relatonships, and was mean and cocky to people. You have to understand the fact that these people live together, and at the end of the day, they don't want to give the money to the bully. Also, yes, without Russ, nat would have been gone very soon, BUT, she was smart enough to attatch herself to russ! THAT IS STRADEGY! And russell is just being a big baby. GOD!

Remember when he sat there in the hammock saying "Well, im gonna win so who wants second, here ill tell ya what to say lalalala im the greatest survivor in history lalalalala" i see that as a bully. And the fact that he wasnt voted off shows his stratigic game, not his social game. what i mean by social game is that natalie took it upon herself to make relationships with everyone, and he didn't. in every season it all depends on the jury. this jury wanted to be treated as people, not pawns.

In china, they voted for todd because he was the best player. this time, thety voted for nat because she treated them like human beings. it all weighs out in the mind of the jury, if they favored stradgy over social, then russ would have won, but they didn't. Natalie dominated socially. End of statement, if she didn't she wouldn't have won. Russ should have developed more personal relatonships. take it from someone who sits home and disects the game in her spare time.

You'll all have plenty to dissect this time around. Hardcore players, taking names and numbers rather than prisoners (well, except Sugar, but she was gone fast), very little margin of error. Oh, and I think jpad already mentioned the potential for a pissed-off bench.

Listen, russell didn't win because he was too busy playing the game rathar than making relationships. Natalie did. when she was talking to the girls to vote out eric, that was making relationships. she had a big relationship with Laura involving religion. Same with Brett. Perception is not reality, and in reality, natalie got the check and the title. now shut your ramling trap.

I don't think you understand what i mean by relationships. I don't mean ALLIANCES. No, i don't think laura or brett would take Natalie to the end if they had a choice, BUT, Natalie did talk to them and were civil to them and became their friend. Survivor is a Social, Physical, and Stratigic game, and it all weighs in the mind of the jury as to what is more important to them. In this case more of the people favored the social player rathar than the stratigic. THAT is why Natalie won. the end.

Russell should consider himself lucky that this jury let him off pretty easy. Next season, I doubt that'll be the case. These are veterans out for blood and if he's up to his antics yet again, expect that he ends up with tire marks all over himself. Natalie and the Samoa jury will simply be the least of his problems.

With regards to the NEXT jury though, these guys are gonna be brutal and they won't hesitate to throw him under the bus during the Final Tribal Council, should he get that far with his bull-in-a-china-shop antics. For starters, he p*ssed them off with his attitude towards them. They could have lambasted him for that during the Final Tribal.

Then again, they'll be old news by Thursday. With the next jury, however, I bet he's up to his shenanigans yet again, but come judgment day, that jury will have no qualms calling him out on it and slapping him around.

Last time I checked, that was Erik, not the whole tribe. Thing was by the time Foa Foa had the numbers, he started gloating, especially whenever someone was voted off.

And FYI, reliable sources say that he's part of the majority in the next season, but nothing more. He simply coattails it to the end with two other women. Needless to say, he pulls an Amanda.

@ballaspud22 Natalie gets unassailable credit for persuading a majority to cannibalize one of their own. Russell gets credit for the first two boots, which happen to the same types of people every other season. I doubt all the other boots were even HIS idea.

John was pretty much Russell's idea.

Dave was mostly Shambo's.

Monica was a default when Brett had immunity.

Shambo was Jaison's idea.

And Jaison and Brett were pretty much defaults.

Thing is, I actually LISTEN to what people say and I don't fall for editing biases made to spread the Russell love in the manliest way possible.

Suggesting the idea implies that you ARE the one who thought of it.

Approving the idea implies that you're simply GOING ALONG with it.

If he just approves decisions, then he wasn't really in charge then. He simply let others think about whom to vote out, gave them his stamp of approval and said that it was all his idea to the camera, which he always does.

@ballaspud22 That's the editors' fault, not the contestants. Given the chance, the contestants could have been more interesting with an unbiased edit. What we see is just 1% of what happens. Not to mention, it's biased to favor one person. Whatever Probst finds the manliest way to spread love for his man-crush, I guess...

On HvV, he'll have to STFU and share airtime for the likes of Coach, Courtney, Jerri and Tyson.

If my favorite player is Boston Rob, WHY IN THE WORLD would you think that I'm "self righteos" and want to see only the so called "Heroes" win. I LOVE the Villains. I love people who play a smart and stategic game and HATE the people who play the "honor and integrity card" (because most of the time, they're idiotic muscleheads *coughjamescough*). Don't make assumtions as to who I want to see win without knowing the contents as to why I don't like Russell. He rubs me the wrong way. End of story.
