They made the 90's very fun for most of use and that is what

I think he just said adjective since he was thinking how the WCW promotional statement was basically descriptive of the wrestlers there. The main point of "Where the big boys play" is that the "boys" are "big". But instead he was focusing /his/ counter-statement on "play", basically implying that they are kids.
