it's quite insensitive to call braiders "the Africans". if someone said "the african americans" relaxed my hair blablabla would you like it? Maybe yes, maybe no, but i don't know... it just doesn't sound right. And most people charged about 125-150 (max 200 and that would depend on how much hair you have and what length you want) as it is a time consuming and skillful process. So $15/twist is a complete rip off. Research before going to salons, simple as that.

I got some senegalese twist now, and girl let me tell you, I LOVE THEM, but It took forever! I just didn't like the price I paid to get them done, but trust and believe they are staying in for A WHILE!

Me and my sisters are rocking twists right now too. We do our own and it takes me like 6hrs to finish my whole head (medium sized twists). For me, my hair gets really dry in the twist so i have to spray mine every other night to make sure my hair stays moisturized otherwise I have a lot of breakage when I take them out.

Hi hun!! you know what will stretch your relaxer? A Dominican blow out thats what i do all the time in between relaxers cuz i cant go nappy but i cant do a perm every 6weeks my hair will fall the hell out! But check out a dominican blow out it might work for you!

it's a brand called hollywood yaky fiber it's not the normal kankekalon or kankelon fiber hair this hair doesn't require hot water to lock the twist once u twist it to the tips it stays without anything like spritz to hold it

Me and my sisters are rocking twists right now too. We do our own and it takes me like 6hrs to finish my whole head (medium sized twists). For me, my hair gets really dry in the twist so i have to spray mine every other night to make sure my hair stays moisturized otherwise I have a lot of breakage when I take them out.

What kind of hair do you use for sengalese twist? Hell yeh girl I agree I got two heads to do this weekend. I braid my own hair , I refuse to pay $200 or more for braids I take my time and I make it happen . Love you Sistah keep up the Tutorials :). Peace

I normaly relax every 8-10 weeks, stretching just means letting the new growth grow out and not relaxing so frequently.

i think she was refering her to 1-year relaxer anniversary...she was natural until very recently. And i guess she just likes to stretch her relaxer as long as she can to prevent damage...gr8 idea actually

gurl u can braid. and lemme tell u...i am african, well my parents are and i get senegales twist ery summer and they cost $180-$200. and dats for the whole head. and u kno since im african i get a discount, but they still charge me $180. them africans up in florida is rippin people off...wtf $15 per twist...im not even guna calculate...thats bs. but go ahead urs look real good and professional!! and they last a long time.i keep mine in for at the most 3 months u jus gotta take care of them.

Hi hun!! you know what will stretch your relaxer? A Dominican blow out thats what i do all the time in between relaxers cuz i cant go nappy but i cant do a perm every 6weeks my hair will fall the hell out! But check out a dominican blow out it might work for you!

I think since it's summer i'm also gon stop with the relaxers.. At first I was debating transition but my style with my hair changes when the falls comes again so idk.. Stretching perms will save you alot of money & give your hair a rest..

LOLZ it's the kind of hair i use it's different from the normal kankalon or kenkenkalon fiber hair becuz when i used that hair i had to use hot water and everything i was gettin mad! lol this hair doesn't require anything but twisting and a lil grease for shine

it's a brand called hollywood yaky fiber it's not the normal kankekalon or kankelon fiber hair this hair doesn't require hot water to lock the twist once u twist it to the tips it stays without anything like spritz to hold it
