When I hit the play the track and then hit the record button like you did, it lets me adjust the automation level, but the instrument sound cuts out almost like the its being run over or something. I can perfectly see that red line going up and down but it just pushes over the notes and wont let them play! HELP!
@RyFlyification How to you mean it pushes over the notes? Do you mean that it records over the audio that youve recorded in addition to adjusting automation? If so, just unarm the track, then press play and record the automation.
@ParanormalDub1997 Click on any parameter of any effect (like wet/dry on reverb for example) and a 4 little brackets will appear around it. That the red automation line is showing the automation for THAT parameter.

Sometimes my automation doesn't work i can move the line and stuff but it doesn't do anything to the instrument ...

@frediiee try clicking the "back to arrangement" button at the top, its 2 buttons to the right of the record button
