  • Organized religion must be abolished for the salvation of the mankind. (By the way, I am a deist who says this)

  • Religion is a "religion" its ionized. True Christianity is not a religion... for this is Man who is of Ego reaching out to God.. Christianity if God reaching out to save mankind and womankind from their own actions which have been initiated from the start

  • @sunnymars11

Religion - "an institution to express belief in a divine power; "he was raised in the Baptist religion"; "a member of his own faith contradicted him""

Christianity is a religion. It gets tax breaks just like all other religions. It has dogmas, tenants, unsubstantiated claims accepted as true, a faith in a higher power, it's a religion man.

  • Other than that I wish for you peace and luck in your life. Farewell. And I mean it, not as criticism or anything...all the below was the things I thought when I read your vid. That's all. No harm done.

  • And at last, you forgot Buddhism and all the other religions that exists also.

Other than that, this was an interesting reading indeed. You clearly state your position against religion.

But isn't atheism a religion in its own self?

"a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects"

Beliefs: that a God does not exists.

Practices: regular opposition against religious sects, such as this vid

Agreements: All the millions of Atheists...

  • @goodcommentguy

No. Not believing in god is not the same as claiming there is no god. Nothing says atheists should go around opposing religion, so you're wrong once again. Atheism has no beliefs or practices, it is a lack of belief.

  • @Yankyal1 What you describe as "Atheism" is actually agnosticism. Atheism, by definition, is antithetical to the concept of a God.

  • @jed2026 No, actually. Theism comes from theos, and a means lack of. If someone asks "do you believe in god" and you don't say yes, you are atheist by definition. Agnosticism and gnosticism are descriptions of your believe, be it gnostic theism or gnostic atheism or agnostic theism or agnostic theism.

  • @Yankyal1 A true atheist would not be known, as denying god is admittance to the possibility , opening the door to argument.

  • @Yankyal1 I merely agreed with you.

  • @wmdcrain

LOL. I thought you were good comment guy. I'll just delete that post then sir.

  • I noticed that you take the position of a person who thinks that if a God was dominant, the world somehow wouldn't survive the waves of evolutions that sweep upon us. Is that saying that without religion, the World would exist forever and ever? Last time I read my astronomy book I saw that in the end, the universe will be some empty hole of time and space or something. I don't think the destruction of religion can stop that.

  • Now, if I were to be an athiest, I'd notice some things too. I'll keep it simple here.

"He becomes incapable of enduring...lost in a hostile world, randomly governed by a despotic god."

I see Christians today who adapt to the current events just as well, if not better than any other person.

    "The existence...self delusion..."

Say if there WAS a God. Atheists are considering a god non-existing because of their self delusion and suggestion. Not to mention the public movements.

  • Look at the Christians today. They have charities. They raise money. They don't want to create fear into the people; they help the people for all I can see in my local community. They don't track and hunt you down if you refuse to believe them, nor do they force you to believing something. And at last here baptism is not required for entrance into heaven, that's Catholics; for protestants and baptists, all you have to do is believe that Jesus died for you and me so we can get into heaven.

  • I have several long comments here...althought I myself am Christian I will now take the position of commenter.

I noticed that in the description you act as if the few verses there out of thousands are the only things that matter for Christianity. I know, typical for an atheist but what person in common sense can't find something good about a Church? There's nice people there and I don't think I can find churches burning people down here in the current days.

  • Good Points u make. And then GUILT was created by christianity. In the 1600 -1800 it was witches now they just call them terrorists,to make there war ok.
