When this lift happened, I was around 750 on my 1rm. Within the next few months I did a local meet and opened with 700, then hit 750 and missed 800 on my third. It was a shitty setup or else I am confident I could have got it. Thanks for the comment.
its so hard not to keep your back rounded when the deficit is this high especially for us tall guys. i did a 5.5 inch deficit and my back was parralel lols!
idk how you were able to do 7 inches though 5.5 inches dug into my feet it would seem a 7 inch would me much lower for me than where your doing it. this is what my 5.5 looked like.
did you get inujred? now you only dothis from the floor.
Yeah I had a pinched nerve. It made my right tricep unusable for 6 months. That is why I didn't post vids for so long. I only started lifting weights again like 8 weeks ago (I think). Something like that anyways. My lifts right now for deadlifts are no where near where they were. Pulling from 7" made it so that I could not get he bar completely over my feet. When I would lower the weight after the rep, you can see me push the bar away from myself so I dint squish my feet.
june 2008 ive had fucked up injuries. your nerves heal? xrays said nothing was wrong with me, which pissed me off cause i think i ruptured a ligament in my sternum, in june doing dips9i had a louddd pp at the bottom and its fucked ever since although i still bench) and also the same day i fucked my neck up doing a 174 standing strict military attempt.9failed so it wasnt worth the injury lol!!!) but the nerve damage is from my neck to my upper back9connected damage lol) also have other injurie.
Mine was nerve danage in my c5. Nerve runs from spine to shoulder, through tricep into hand. Doctor figures the pinch was in my shoulder. My tricep got so bad my max bench was 225x3. That felt like 500 in my right arm. My tricep broke down so much I could literally push my finger into the muscle and touch the bone. It was mush. I got an x-raw, a cat scan, and I was waiting for a neuroligist and ct-scan ion Vancouver and just the other day the called me about making an appointment- 7 months later
Thanks! Yeah these were tough. I like using a max deficit. Only crappy thing is that you squish your feet a bit when you put the bar back on the floor.

Now it looks like you know a fair amount about dead lifting, but if you really want to increase your max, start lifting at 1" from lockout. That will develop most power and explostion. FACT.
Fuck, you made that look easy lol
Amazing.
