  • OMG!!!!!!! this is so painful to watch Why are "Expert" village videos 1 freakin minute long!!! It takes the dude longer to introduce himself (which he does on every video by the way!) than the actual informative part. And why can't they number the freaking videos!!!!! AggggHHHHHHH......

  • Agree +1 on the gloves. I'd personally use some safety glasses or goggles when spraying those bearings since I'd like to keep my vision.

  • i wear an organic vapor mask, goggles and nitrile gloves i replace whenever i see that the solvent is weakening the glove...

  • That's nice to see you use solvent on the bearings, another video said that "it wasn't necessary to use solvent on the old bearings"...

I like to soak mine in gas, then repack.

That solvent goes right thru your skin into your liver without gloves though.

    Thanks

  • never ever wash bearings never you replace bearings if there are alot of dirt and grit in the bearing because the bearing will be worn out slightly washing the bearings causes the plastic in the bearings to crack causing further problems

  • expert village is the most useless bunch of fucktards on the internet.

  • lol

  • i dont agree with spray solvent unless you use a whole can, tank or tub of loktite 7070 solvent and a good brush is best, but dont re-use the solvent, your just circulating the dirt shit n grit to another bearing, buy a pair of gloves too.

  • This guy obviously doesn't care about safety at all. Ever hear of nitrile gloves buddy??? To all you shade-tree newb mechanics, every fluid on a car can either kill you, make you sick, or cause cancer over time. And you definitely shouldn't come in contact with spray solvents!!!

  • brake clean drys your hands out hardcore...

  • I like brake clean myself

  • The proper way is to put the wheel bearings in a solvent bath and use a brush on each bearing to remove ALL of the old grease in the bearing! The best way for those without a solvent bath maybe your method!
