hey ENJ, for a person that hasn't been able to beat boss battles on intense AT ALL yet, do you have any tips for me, or a character that might help for beginners?

A good character to use for the mode would be Kirby, Meta Knight, Charizard, Yoshi, or Fox. They all have a lot going for them in this mode. As for tips, I have a walkthrough on GameFAQs (the one submitted by Nogard) that'll go into excruciating detail about each of the boss's attack patterns and how to dodge every attack. Give that a look over and if you have any further questions my contact info's in the FAQ. Hope it helps.

ya lol takes ages to master, its basically learning mainly the dodging, once you get the perfectly it all becomes pretty easy no matter how long it takes to win. WIth me i was pretty good at the dodging but like i hated taboo's butterfly wave attack where u have to dodge 3 times but i got the hang of it and now pretty pro at dodging most of the time :p. I have to make a video like this lol, but ya seriously great job, you sir are a pure pro to not lose any damage and dodge perfectly =D 5/5

how did u dodge tabuus one hit k.o move?

You need to side-dodge it. My suggestion is to stand in the center of the stage and side-dodge (down + shield) three times. You need to time it so that you're dodging as the red part of the ring hits the stage. You just need to relax when you finally get it.  Once you get the timing down, you'll never get hit by the attack again. I'd also suggest spending say 10 minutes in the SSE and just practice dodging it. Tabuu will do that move on the 4th, 12th, 20th move and so on every 8 moves

The attack patterns are the same and different at the same time. Basically, all the bosses have say 2-4 moves that they can do at a given time. After they've done about 4 moves, the pattern repeats. There are only a few guaranteed attacks that will happen every time but the rest are pretty random so you have to be prepared for 'em. I have a FAQ on GameFAQs (written by Nogard on there) that explains all the attack patterns in detail if you're interested in 'em.

Heh, I use a (wait for it) VCR with a 6-hour VHS tape. I've got my Wii hooked up through the VCR so I just hit record and it'll record whatever happens. After I get something on the tape, I use a TV-Tuner card to transfer it from the tape to my computer. Then I use Pinnacle studio and DivX to compress the file size so that it can fit on Youtube. The VCR is old-school, but it's reliable ^^

It's already been said, but seriously, start up your own game and see the damage for yourself before saying it's easy when it's not. Notice it took me 6:44 to beat this with Bowser. Do you know that the world recors on easy for Bowser is about 1:15? I'm not so terrible that I would do it 5 minutes slower if it were easy. Know your facts before you berate someone else (or try to considering you failed on this one).

If you watch the animation of the Porky Bots, then before they explode, they kind of "trip" which delays their explosion for about 1/4 of a second. This gives you enough time to run right past them before they can blow up.

i personally find bowser one of the easiest to do with this. Of course, it requires a lot of spamming. Although his Side Smash has a lot of lag, i find it useful when the boss just finishs an attack. It does massive damage. My personal score is 8:57 =D

If I did Bowser again, I might change his position on my list because since I did Bowser 3rd, I wasn't used to the bosses' attack patterns yet so consequently, it took forever to actually get him done so maybe I was a little biased when I figured which characters were easier than others. I didn't really have time to think about that when I was doing this. I was nervous about Rayquaza doing the lightning attack because at the time I didn't know a sure-fire way to dodge it so basically if he used it, I was going to get hit. That's not the case now but whatever. As for Master Hand, that caught me off guard because I forgot to account for the fact that when he is one of the last 3 bosses, that attack waits a little longer so the perfect shield was pretty lucky.

Gotcha. Ike's pretty annoying to fight against. his triple tap A does 16 freaking damage. That's waaaay too much for holding down a button and your opponent can't do anything. Moves like Bowser/Charizard's fire have the same effect but your opponent can get out of it if he simply angles the control stick away from you. With Ike it's a guaranteed 16 damage regardless of what your opponent does. Really annoying but whatever.
