Nope. The real ending is when you change back to human by collecting the letters ROD. Notice under high score there is _OD; therefore, this is the normal ending.

well I had a lot of things,like being stucked in the middle of a fight with a boss (suddenly every sprite except bacground turned blue and some info appeard in a corner of the screen),also many sounds problems like in 2:00 but longer,..uh... sometimes I got stucked in the middle of the screen-changing rounds- and a lot more xD I cant re mind they all

@AkumaNoRobin to me that happened but only happened when i grab the bottle that makes appear some cards and every card you grab you get 500 points and if you collect them all in under 30 secods you get 100k points but halfway around 20 seconds left the game froze like happened on you

Oh. Well I'm not sure of where it works, but I think in some stages you must let the Hurry Up message appear and that makes the letters R O D appear. Once you have them a rod appears and taking it turns you into human form.

That or there is a code to start as a human.

I can never get Hyper Drunk's second forms pattern down right, he's not hard to beat but his lasers from his eyes he shoots always finds me. Truly a remarkable sequel to the original Bubble Bobble, the Saturn version is arcade perfect (seems to be emulated).

I agree, the lasers were the hardest to avoid and it took several playthroughs to get the pattern down. The video was recorded on mame. =D
