@DJGENEX71 Viewliner dining cars???? That diner is a much needed respite from the ugliness of the Viewliners, Amfleet cars and the P40/42/32. I guess it's a sad day when F40PHs, B32-8WHs and SDP40s seem like the most beautiful things on Amtrak.....

I actually never fanned the line, despite living so close to it. It passes through the great scenery in Lancaster County and has a lot of good fanning spots, and I'm not sure how many trains daily, but I am familiar with the Amtrak 'The Pennsylvanian' which runs across PA, I've caught that train a few times on the NS Pittsburgh Line, the Amtrak trains travel 70 MPH on the PITL and they might go 80 MPH to 110 MPH on home rails.

Yes 110, the Keystone Corridor updated its track with new welded rail and in some areas concrete ties.  They now run some trains at 110 in certain areas. I have to get some videos on this line. pahogger has a few.

After hearing that horn beep I can say, it is offical now, they have got to know you, LOL. You have to climb a latter to get up in those cabs and let me tell you when you are way up high in those cabs you can see everything. It is like being in a semi truck but you are a lot more higher off of the ground in a train then you are in a semi truck. They can easly see you every time they pass by your crossing. 5 star vid!!!!! Also thought I saw your shadow, lol
