This s definitely not a jig. This is a treble reel. You need to cross more- you're knees are quite gappy. Also, when you were bringing your leg back most of the time to kick your butt, your other foot would turn in. Hope this helps! =)

I like it, i've always wished i could dance. Where i'm from (in ireland) we have about ten different schools of irish dance and our primary schools teach fiddle (optional) and tin whistle and flute as mandatory and i think its great that they're promoting it cos now i can play the tin whistle and flute and bodhrán.

eh its alright, its really full of variety. Like the cities are just like any city in the world. The West has a lot of the whole "green isle" place you'd see in movies but no plugging in your phone charger would not destroy the whole towns supply of electricity *glares at the movie leap year*. Correction, this is not jig time music, nor is it an Irish jig, which is in 6/8 meter. To be specific it is a treble reel, 4/4 meter. The dancing is great though:)

I'm sorry lollipopdana2004, there is no 'original' Irish jig. Dance steps vary from school to school, only traditional set dances such as St. Patrick's Day or The Blackbird have predefined steps. Steps are created to follow the time sequence of the music, as shown here, Tara Reid is dancing a treble reel to music in 4/4 time.
