For those analog audio enthusiasts, check out my video of a track of music taken directly from reel to reel analog and transfererred to digital. You can hear great quality and ask, is it digital or analog?? Here: enter....
actually i wanted to sell the ~1000 pounds (honestly: thats to be seen literally!) of revox-replacement parts and platines and all of those old a77 and telefunken machines i found in my grampa's old workingspace.. now i think about repairing and keeping them all.. thanks to you for that thought! :)
however: if you need a specific thing, just drop me a line here!
recently bought a copy of big apple productions vol. 1,now i get the idea how they did it back in the 80's.
today we're kinda spoiled with all the portable digital recording mini studio's..i bet the sound was better back than no digital compression, pure analog.
ooohhhh man, this is a nice one. Got this one somewhere on one of the many tapes thats getting dusty somewhere upstairs.
great to see myself still knowing every track that's coming into the mix. I've played this one a couple of times all those years ago. Very nice to find it here. Thanks for sharing!
This is fantastic. I have the original bootleg of this mix, picked it up in Brussels. Ace to see it on here! Thanks for posting it. Heroes memories Manchester, poppers, clones, Les Cockell....what more d'ya want x
No way, someone remembers Hero's. I used to love that place. Divine on the screen eating do shit and really pumping hi energy... Wicked. I remember Les Cockle aswell, awesome dj!!
I then open some years later as V-bar, then Club V, the home of the UK's longest running weekly house event where I have have dj'ed at for 6 years.

Maybe I'm a bit slow, but why did I just watch a tape recorder running for three & a half minutes?
wado1942 2 years ago
Because you don't own a Deck like this for your own?
MegamanX4ThArmor 2 years ago
@wado: only you can answer this question. ;) It has to do with the esthetic aspect of this machines.
MikeyJohny 2 years ago
I get that part, show the machine by all means, just not for the whole duration of the video.

Divine - Native Love

The First Song is a High-NRG Song Called "Native Love from Divine" (A Draq Queen) the later is "She has a Way" from Bobby Orlando.
MegamanX4ThArmor 2 years ago
And Lime's "Babe, we're gonna love tonight" and Donna Summer's "I feel love"... Sylvester's "Do you wanna funk?"...
Though I don't really understand why this guy/girl bleeps out the word "FUNK" from 3.02 onwards... it's insane.
