@cromlovesbiscuits , Because the the outside veranda area is kinda boxed in with bushes, and and it's nice to have a view of the surroundings! Enjoy your stay! ;-)

How far did you have to walk from the hotel to the beach? I looked on google maps and it seemed a bit of a distance (although I really shouldn't complain) but i'm just curious!

It was only about 5-10 mins from our room, but we were in the furthest block away. Some of the apartment's were probably only 30 seconds away! As long as the sun's shining it's not an issue as the surroundings are pleasant. :-)

We were there January 2011 and absolutely loved it. Amazing place. The huge catamaran day trip was also awesome as well as the trip into Havana itself.
