thats the wonder of the rifles, not only do we enjoy and sing along to the music. but it keeps the brain ticking over too :) oh what a wonderful band.

theres two interpretations of this song. either the very obvious, youth of today, bottle breaking simply being someone getting bottled and ending up in hospital or hes speaking metaphorically about how he's 'broken' a bottle open and got horribly drunk, 'where do they run off too' possibly reffering to the world of alcohol and boozing, and being a 'social club' could refer to the drinking culture within society today.

Or, you could do the logical one and see it as the obvious thing: how people are just getting along less and less these days, Narrow minded social club standing for how people will only interact with people the same as themselves, as in narrowing it down to people who think the same. As often we're categorized due to racism and styles, of clothing and music. And because of that, there's tension and people having issues with eachother.
