Wally just brought tears of joy to my eyes, that piano playing of his is what I want to achieve before I die. Incredible piano playing. It's people like him and Anthony Berger that can make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The Bible says that all things praise the Lord, well the hairs on the back of my neck were shouting on this song.

Vesta Johnney were wonderful in this gospel remake. Just look at the fun they're having as they witness. But i think n this video ya must give the top bows to Wally on the piano. Vestal Johnney were great!! But gosh ya have to hand it to Wally on the Piano. man that guy has been blessed with such talent. i just love so much about county gospel the least is not that on so many and i mean many of the songs the pipo are smiling and even playing around a bit as they sing/witness. the secular word has absolutey NOTHING on traditional Christain entertainers and absolutely nothing on Christains. When her husband lay all but dead he told her Sing sister sing. I what I heard through the grape vine. She reaaly love him as a good wife and I heard she started singing right their on the spot. Just imagine being sung into glory what a way to go. I thank God for the light houses he has placed in my path and Sister Goodman was the brightest!

Johnny Cook was my grandpa.

I read that Mr. Cook died of kidney failure. When did he pass and how old was he? These old videos have been such a blessing to me. I also enjoyed the 1974 video of he and Vestal Goodman singing Looking for a City. Bless you. Katie

He passed in 2000 and i believe was around 50 or 52 years old. I heard him as a young kid the the 70's and I never forgot him and want it be a wonderful day when we can all sing in heaven together.
