Why does the Christian wear the cross? Or the Jew the star of David? Any religion which does not convert people rapidly gets confused with a race, as both Sikhs and Jews will attest, so your badges of religious duty appear to be badges of racial superiority. That is your claim, there is no reason why anybody else should buy into your rationalizations. Traditions fade and die when they no longer serve any need. If Sikh men were not in some way enjoying the experience of wearing turbans they'd stop wearing them. As you can't be objective about your heritage consider the kilt: an impractical garment for modern men in a cold climate. Nowadays men only wear the kilt to show off an arrogant pride in their clan or an arrogant pride in their nation.

I happen to be an ex-Sikh, so I do have a reasonable amount of understanding on the religion. Although it is rather peaceful unlike Abrahamic religions, it still requires beliefs of things with little to no evidence.
