  • the piano not help the dancer.it is to week in sound.a ful orchestra help soooo much in the tempo 4/4

  • how called is this music??

  • Beautiful lighten dances fixing on floor with higher noble elegant air .

Legart lines kept god lines with Max hghest point for a beautiful monemt.

Like her statue of her legs highest point was on her cheek, it made me surprised very much .

On her beauty dance made also grand impressions as professonal top level.

I am glad to see this lovely vivid her dance VTR.

    i

  • She is simply breathtaking!

  • magnifique

  • She has amazingly sharp movements and yet manages to make them perfectly flowing, it's stunning.

  • How old is Diana in this video?

  • @KirovFan I guess 16 or below. Her body shape is very much like when she participated in Prix de Lausanne, so thin that makes her not strong enough. She grew into much fuller figure later

  • @nicolezly she is 17 or 18 because she did this at her graduation performance from the Vaganova Academy

  • She so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There's something sexy and mysterious in the first passé, as well as in her own interpretation.

  • she looks 17 or 18 in this video. her shape is very similar in her carmen variation in Prix de Lausanne. i have seen videos of her at 20 years old and she was already in much fuller figure, and also stronger technically.

  • she does not look young at all hear, though by the way....she looks at least in her twenties...

  • this is one of the hardest variations! I love how she makes it :D

  • how old is she in this video?

  • What is the name of the song? Or the composer?

  • does anyone know who the guy partnering her is?

  • I love how exaggerated it is. Especially in the beginning with those super high passes and at the end with those battements. (:

  • I love her, she's able to act every role!!!

  • MsBalletomane, it is exactly what Russian ballet is about, not just dancing, but acting and playing the part. Even French ballerinas not so good at that.

  • BRAVA! :)

  • no words- just WOW!!! 1:20 so so strong!!!

  • A dancer must have to have the strength of an ox to dance this!

  • Diana is so fabulous :) I love her.

  • diana vishneva is classically trained, i've seen her perform, i think it's just the choreography of this piece, or maybe she's just very young here and hasn't matured as a dancer yet. she's breath taking in technique, talent beauty and strength.

  • how old is she here?

  • Her Passé looks really weird but she have perfect control and amazing strenght!

  • she has alot of personality in her dancin. its great!

  • She makes it more than a girly thing, theres something else she bring. Its intriguing, she adds like an air of mystery to it. She is more than just a technical ballerina.

  • @broadwaynballet Exactly, that's something I see from her too. Usually Russian ballerinas are so technically perfect that many times forget to transmit anything through the performance. However, when I watch Vishneva, she is mesmerizing.

  • @MsBalletomane I would say exactly the same about French ballerinas. I love Russian ballerinas and male ballet dancers precisely because their dance has so much emotion... But of course I do agree with you about Diana being mesmerizing! She is indeed. I love her!

  • @tatiana10 Really? That's interesting. I actually love most French ballerinas. It's amazing how people have such different points of view and yet...both countries have ballet companies that are considered the best in the world. So it must really be a matter of personal choice.

  • I think she looks stiff because of her muscularity and thinness. :o

  • i thought diana danced this wonderfully! bravo!

  • une vraie prima ballerina

  • she's great

  • Grand pas classique is not from paquita. Nor is it a ballet it is simply a pas de deux. The variation is verrrrrrry hard but if done well it is very beautiful!

  • she has such great control, but i feel like she almost looks too stiff sometimes...

  • Grand pas classique is not from the ballet Paquita. It is a stand-alone piece choreographed in 1949.

  • Grand Pas Classique, though often performed on its own, is actually from the ballet Paquita

  • Grand Pas Classique is the name of the ballet

  • a bit stiff?

  • i don't remember of which ballet it is,please?

  • This variation is not for her. She is a great dancer though; just miscast.

  • yes, she is great.. but why the piano started so slowly.. too slow! and then suddenly faster.. mm.. that's unpleasant

  • she should try the esmeralda variation

  • I don't like it;she seems aggressiv and not elegant

  • Look she is an awesome ballerina but her dancing style is not so classic as you see in the other girls. but in talent i bet she beats your ass one to nothing

  • Of course she's an awesome ballerina, in Carmen for exemple, but also in other roles.

In this one, I prefer other dancers, this is my opinion, you've yours.

  • AGREED! this is one of the hardest variations ever and she mastered it AND added her own style.

  • @athenasmith123 I think that's why I like to watch her so much. She isn't technically perfect but she's a modern and intelligent dancer. I think there is something so complex about the way she tackles her characters. I just love her.

  • Well it is her style, she is more on the tense side of the dancing but still it is amazing :D

  • how old is she here?

  • probably 18 or 19

  • es muy bonito el baile, mucha elegancia... muy lindo

  • muy bonita, mucha gracia, pero creo que es demasiado delgada :S
