If, indeed, you believe in the lord; don't you think that an "alcoholic death" might have been the plan all along? Townes himself had said that his life would run out before his music did; said he had it planned that way. Would we love him and his music so much, were he a less tragic figure? The world would be a better place if all of us lived Townes' tragic existence in his humane manner. As a fallible human being, I don't pretend to know the indentity or mind of god, but I ask you consider.

Too bad he didn't take that hand and go to AA,he would have found life instead of an alcoholic death.What a shame.
