  • Inaudible

  • Best scene in the histoy of best scenes EVER.

  • most overrated shot in history OMG HE'S INSANE HE'S LOOKING GLEEFUL WHILE HANGING HIS HEAD OUT THE WINDOW, TALK ABOUT RAW INSANITY!

  • @Shamus8b8 most badmad hater in history OMG IT'S POPULAR I HAVE TO HATE IT BECAUSE I CAN'T ENJOY THINGS WITH OTHER PEOPLE, THAT WOULD MEAN I WOULD HAVE TO SOCIALIZE FOR ONCE IN MY PATHETIC LIFE

  • @AlexEwing Populatiry has nothing to do with disliking this inorganic, expositionist, piece of retarded shallow crap

  • Comment removed

  • @Shamus8b8 Yeah, you could talk like that about any scene.

"OMG ROBERT DE NIRO IS TALKING TO HIMSELF IN THE MIRROR, WHAT AN AMAZING SCENE!!"

"OMG LOOK MARLON BRANDOS STROKING A CAT, BEST ACTOR EVER!"

See how retarded that is and how it doesn't mean shit?

  • He really is like a dog.

  • whats the point of driving the police car... what was he trying to do??

  • @Duknown leave the police station.......

  • "some men can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men...just want to watch the world burn..."

  • I loved the way he shook his hair towards the end.It really looked natural and showed the joker's insanity.RIP Heath Ledger. You went out with a bang.

  • WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! XD

  • The low frequency sound really drives this shot and Harvey's reaction to Rachel's death.

  • I believe the swerving of the car is an example of how even in a quiet moment for the Joker there is always a chance of him to do something crazy...that he never has peace...

  • "Some men can't be bargined with, they simply want to let the world burn."

  • 'like a dog chasing cars'

  • best scene ever

  • 9 people are Harvey Dent lovers

  • really perfect.

  • omg

    *_*

    perfect!

  • ugh, my favorite.

  • This moment consists of 3 scenes (Joker showing the keys to Lau, Gordon saying how the Jokers plan was to be caught, and this scene)

Joker is not driving the car, Lau is, while Joker hanging on to the car frame in the back. I have watched this many times on my bluray copy and you can actually see Lau's hand is struggling holding on to the inner frame of the car (where the seatbelt starts). The swerving of the car is a triumphant jesture of victory, which Joker fully inhales into himself.

  • what a don lol

  • it makes be think of the geico piggy

  • without words, this is probably the best villainous moment in any film, the realization and joy of everyhting going "according to (a chaotic) plan". The idea itself is genius. I remember seein this in the theather (the first time lol) and wantin to clap at this scene. Its one of those things where at a point you can kinda justify cheerin for the villain. Anyways, excellent scene from a great movie. Waitin for #3

  • it looks cool but why is the cop swerving when there is hardly any traffic?

  • @chargers31fan Because his henchmen are from the insane asylum they're Driving While Crazy.

  • the person whos driving is maybe the guy he threaten at the police sation or another guy he threaten

  • @Starmirna, Personally, this scene to me has always seemed like The Joker relishing the only one true moment of carefree, blissful freedom he'll ever have. Of course there are probably other ways to look at it. But that's always been my POV.

  • Maybe the best shot of the movie, this shit is just amazing.

  • *Micheal J Fox voice* IIIIIIIIIII'M BATDOG!

  • Can someone please explain this scene? I've seen the movie 3 times and i just don't get it...

  • @starmirna There is nothing to get really, just showing the jokers carefree i don't give a fuck attitude about life and just enjoying it

  • best part of the ENTIRE movie

  • fucking love this shot so much.

  • Such a classic shot now, this shot ranks up there with that classic shot of Batman looking up at the Batsignal in Batman 89. Both are awesome scenes in their own rights.

  • @PrimeTimeJokesta ... This shot is so much better. Honestly it's one of the greatest shots in all of movie history if you ask me.

  • @MarcusKiner i agree, both are so iconic though. B89 is slightly more epic because of Elfman's legendary score but i do like the fact that there is no sound when joker is sticking his head out of the car.

  • @genge2006 calm down man

  • @genge2006 Shup up, nobody care for your stupid shitty asshole bitchy bastard moron fucking freecky blowed whore inferior slut dick-sucker cock-smelling pony...

IF YOU HAVE EYES... REAL EYES... THERE IS A DRIVER... anybody can see his/her head.

    ¬¬

    Why so stupid?

  • like a dog with his head out of the window.

  • Must be a woman driver.

  • @larukulunaseas LMFAO.

  • Just awesome. One of the best moments in movie history.

  • Whos driving?

  • whose driving?

  • Anyone know the point at which this scene occurs? I remember seeing it in the theatre and being awestruck (best 10 secs of the movie) but everytime I rewatch on cable I miss the moment cuz I'm channel surfing. Thx for the help...

  • @blockreadyguy After he blows up the police station.

  • When the Joker wins and he lets Batman destroyed, meanwhile he's there, with that face of victory....

    Masterpiece.

  • just a simple moment, but my favorite in the movie. when i first saw the trailer and peeped that part i thought it was so badass.

  • Just think how embarrassed Warner must've been, seeing Batman and Robin and than Batman Begins with TDK.

  • best moment in history

  • ive always woundered, is he driving himself or is someone driving him whilst hes just enjoying the air in th 'back'

  • @gameboy12341 yeah I wondered that myself... If it is himself driving... Then hes crazier than I thought... On the other hand... He could have used a driver cuz he's smart...

  • @Zegstasis I wondered that too but if you look in the front seat you see a head so yea he just enjoying the air lol

  • Wanna talk symbolism remember his quote "Im Dog chasing Car's, I Wound't know what do do with one if I caught it" Can anyone tell me what a Dog's favorite thing to do in a car is???

  • @JokerScars69 ........chase it? =P

  • @SpiderWick12 A Dog's favorite thing to do "IN A CAR" is chase it???? you didn't stay in school did you?

  • @JokerScars69 I miss read what you wrote. I thought you said "to do WITH a car".

  • « roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair . »

  • epic!

  • I've just replayed this 50 times :-)

  • Incredible directing. This scene sticks with you forever.

  • This was scene it was spoken about on the Oscar.

  • It is only when we have lost everything that we can do anything... The joker encompasses the madness, the world is falling apart around him and it is only here that he is at peace.

  • There is no other scene I like more in any film than this...

  • The Good Bat, The Bad Clown and the Ugly Attorney.

  • Who taught this guy to drive, Stevie Wonder?

  • The joker made this film!

  • If i had to give 10second film of "what insanity looks like" it would be this

  • was there a point for him hanging out of the police car? I know its the joker and it doesnt have to make sense, just asking. Because, one of his men is driving the car right? It was more of a symbolic act/picture i suppose?

  • @baioken he's enjoying a moment of bliss, equivalent to driving down a highway in the summer, with the top down.

  • cinematography is perfect in this shot

  • As everyone has observed, he sticks his head out "like a dog chasing cars."

Here's another parallel though... notice how the colours of the cop car correspond to the colours of the Joker himself? He wears White makeup, Red Lipstick, has Black patches around his eyes and is wearing a Blue Shirt. The Police Cars also have these colours. The Joker is a perversion of a 'clown' whilst the GPD are (mostly) a perversion of an upstanding police force. In the end, they're both products of corruption.

  • if it wasnt for joker, this movie would be garb

  • Kool Shot. If you like this... Check My Hip Hop video "Love Me, Hate Me". I Did this scene in it. Ot tried to. Lol.

  • well like what he said to Harvey...."im just a mad dog of it's leash"

  • @JellyFactorySlave

    fuck you.

also, fuck those 3 people who disliked this video.

    seriously, how could you?

  • @magicprophecy thay are so serios :D

  • @magicprophecy Why so serious?

  • I love how he plays the joker....damn the luck.....R.I.P Heath Ledger.

  • @animegareborn123 that shit makeup it cursed him

  • my too lupo! >:-)

  • My favorite shot in a film. Gorgeous.

  • aaaaaaaannnddd this is why i stick my head out of the window :D

  • he's so happy

  • When I saw that - I was jealous of the character - I wanted to feel that kind of unrestricted freedom - I haven't felt like that in years!

  • it feels like a tease, i think it should of been longer, still a great scene though

  • OMG THE JOKER BEST VILLIAN EVER

  • The most powerful shot in the film.It brought a tear to eye in the cinema and give my goosebumps goosebumps!

  • im sweating everytime i watch it :S

  • Why does this eerily remind me of 9/11? dont ask me why

  • @Taisvidz cause youre an idiot

  • I think, this is one of the best scenes in cinema history.

You can almost feel the joy of Joker.

I love how the sound fades out and the movement of the car..

Everything about the scene is just wonderful !!!

  • best 9 seconds ever!!!

  • One of the most iconic scenes of 21st century cinema. Made all the more poignant and creepy by Ledger's death.

  • @Mankind081 I agree entirely. I definately experienced a shiver up my spine when I saw this brillant scene. Very chilling, yet compelling. The silence of the scene was a great decision.

  • greatest scene in the movie!

  • My favorite.

  • this must have really hurt his head when he shacks it really fast also this scene is so short yet so powerful it gives u an idea of how crazy the joker really is and u just hear slience

  • @charlieiscool1000 hes loves the soul of gotham hes tasting it

  • why does he look all wet? was he sweating a lot or something?

  • One of the most chilling scenes ever. The drowning out of the sound, and the desperation of the moment makes this one of the best parts of the movie.

  • still gives me chills

  • I just connected the dots!

The reason the Joker licks his lips, and sticks his head out of the window, because he is exactly like a dog ' a dog chasing cars'.

  • oh well dun einstein

  • you spelled Einstein correctly and spelled done wrong.... well done sarcastic one!

  • lol

  • Mother fucker stopped to grab his gloves but left the jacket.

  • this scene IS the movie

  • I wouldn't go that far, but it is the character.

  • is he the ones who drives the policecar

  • Definitely the one shot that ties together the entire film.

  • This and the burning firetruck.

  • its just really surreal

  • most likely because the joker is seems innocent and plainly happy

  • I don't know why I love this scene so much! Anyone have an idea!?

  • because everything went according to plan.

and, what did he say later on? "I'm a dog chasing cars".

  • I like it too, it's just...

  • Leaves me breathless ever single time I see it.

  • I love how the sound drops out.

One of the creepiest moments in the film.

  • Do you know what the only defect about this scene is ?

The fact that it lasts so short, it should be much longer. But maybe that's what makes this clip so effective too, evanishing

  • Devoted his life to this role and we all know it. Went that deep into charcter that he couldnt get back out. = One hell of a movie. Big Respect.

  • And yeah, I guess after he finished the movie, he saw the world as a 'joke' and really didn't care about him or anything afterwards.

  • so chaos but no sounds

    this scene is crazy

I watched this scene over 100times

    so impressive

  • this scene was disturbing for me but i cant explain why

  • don't worry no one can

  • I rewind this scene at least 10 to 15 time every time I watch this movie by far the craziest fucking scene in any movie. the second best must be from the Movie Heat and you movie goers know what scene I'm talking about

  • This is probably the most badass scene I've ever seen in a movie..

  • You guys need to shut the fuck up with that bullshit! The Joker was the shit and definitely beyond the law and batman. And he didn't die dumbass

  • this brief scene defines the whole movie for me, a man beyond the rules and laws of society, living only for the moment

  • Batman lives beyond the law and he isn't caught

  • Sumner Redstone

  • sick

  • this scene is awesome.....

    but i cant explain why..

  • SEXYYYY!!!!!

  • this scene is fantastic because of the unusal, blissful feeling the joker has while rachael and dent are being murdered.
