laoag! i just left the philippines recently and stayed in laoag for about 3 weeks. i imagine when they heard you talking english they started staring for a bit. did you get to see town bakery? or quailty bakery? or golden bakery? my family members own them and that's where i spent most of my time there.

I missed the street vendors. Just don't eat Halo Halo from a street vendor. That made me sick last time i was there.
