This is some fantastic footage, beau jack was a man of heart, in fact they both were.

I honestly dont think that there is a man alive today which could stand the punishment these guys could take, they were warriors through and through.

Great fight! I couldn´t see what round it was stopped so badly. It´s a pitty You can´t see all the moves in that old film. But I mean the fighting-style has changed over the decades. Those old masters could bring their weight into their punches, and in doing that they delivered them with good leverage and in relatively good balance. Above all that there must be a secret that they could fight so often and hard without being constantly damaged!

Wow, they look really muscular, esp. beau jack, shoulders are huge....his bolo punch looked like it could of ripped someones head off. Great fight, just a very ugly finish, should of been stopped after Jack retreated to the ropes after the what, 4 left hooks?
