I want to know how everyone seams to be drawing such smooth lines. are you using a pen or just your mouse? Mine always turn out jittery. So I wind up just using the path tool. It's okay but it turns out to hard edge. I usually have to go through a whole nother layer of blending and such.
if you already have the bamboo already installed, you should first make sure you go to 'pen tablet preference utility' and remove preference file. it should work then if you have it all plugged in and installed.
i don't know if you solved already or not... ^^; but there's my answer.
you dont have to make it blue...u can just leave it the color u had it, make a new layer with the same picture u want to draw out, and on the bottem layer white it all out and u can draw on the lines but make sure ur drawing on the bottem layer, but make sure u put the top layer transparent to about 50% ocapacity
Ok question, how can you do the round lines, are you using path? if not, then which tools (or special key) that lets you have the curve nodes. I think you did some around 0:52 of this clip.
i dont see how you did the coloring! please help me!!

What settings are you using on Gimp to get your lines so smooth? I'm using a Genius tablet, and it seems impossible for me to get lines that smooth.

The video was great and all, but it was hard to keep focus on the video if there we no sound at all. :/

I have a bamboo board too. I simply installed the software that came with it, and it worked in gimp perfectly.

It's a drawing tablet. It makes drawing on the computer a lot easier than using a mouse.

I'm controlling path nodes with control/shift + mouse left button dragging.
Drawing path lines do from "stroke path."

How you do the lines? Are you using a tablet PC?

Sorry to ask, but what tablet are you using? A Wacom?
minhyangie 3 years ago 7
Considering that Wacom is almost the only manufacturer of tablets besides some kind of generic pieces of shit... Yes. A Wacom is the tool used here.
