  • i dont see how you did the coloring! please help me!!

  • Uhm I accidently clicked the X on the layers box, (The one on the far Right) How do I get it Back?

  • @PinoyAkoNinjas Click on file and then on Dialogs, create new dock layers channels and paths

  • I want to know how everyone seams to be drawing such smooth lines. are you using a pen or just your mouse? Mine always turn out jittery. So I wind up just using the path tool. It's okay but it turns out to hard edge. I usually have to go through a whole nother layer of blending and such.

  • @sakitakono i use a mouse. all the people i know who make stuff like this all use a track ball. I can never get good lines with my mouse...

  • What settings are you using on Gimp to get your lines so smooth? I'm using a Genius tablet, and it seems impossible for me to get lines that smooth.

  • The video was great and all, but it was hard to keep focus on the video if there we no sound at all. :/

  • what are you doing at 2:40

  • never used Gimp but i have Open Canvas plus, any idea which is better ? i payed 50 quid for OCplus but over all not sure it's worth it !

  • gimp's free tho

  • What you do at 2:15 ~ 2:20?

  • how do I get my gimp to detect my bamboo tablet?

  • if you already have the bamboo already installed, you should first make sure you go to 'pen tablet preference utility' and remove preference file. it should work then if you have it all plugged in and installed.

i don't know if you solved already or not... ^^; but there's my answer.

  • I have a bamboo board too. I simply installed the software that came with it, and it worked in gimp perfectly.

  • wats a bamboo board?

  • It's a drawing tablet. It makes drawing on the computer a lot easier than using a mouse.

  • you dont have to make it blue...u can just leave it the color u had it, make a new layer with the same picture u want to draw out, and on the bottem layer white it all out and u can draw on the lines but make sure ur drawing on the bottem layer, but make sure u put the top layer transparent to about 50% ocapacity

  • wow you have such smooth lineart. I tent to have trouble getting my brush settings right ^^

  • They used the ink tool

  • I need to get me a pen tablet fast!!

  • How did you color it with out making it cover the lines??? I've been wanting to know how to for months..

  • Never mind I found out, thanks for the videos, watching them teaches me a lot. ^^

  • How? I'm still trying to figure it out! Someone please explain it!

  • Make a new layer for each part of a drawing you want to do. ^^ (This is Itanii different account)

  • I thought that . But how do I make the different layers...?? PLTHNX?

  • how? lol

  • Ok question, how can you do the round lines, are you using path? if not, then which tools (or special key) that lets you have the curve nodes. I think you did some around 0:52 of this clip.

  • I'm controlling path nodes with control/shift + mouse left button dragging.

Drawing path lines do from "stroke path."

  • How you do the lines? Are you using a tablet PC?

  • I'm using pen-tablet.

  • Sorry to ask, but what tablet are you using? A Wacom?

  • Considering that Wacom is almost the only manufacturer of tablets besides some kind of generic pieces of shit... Yes. A Wacom is the tool used here.

  • DAMN! is this verktor-based? good job!
