For anyone else that disagrees or wants to argue let me save you the trouble. I receive what I stand from: having a prayer life, reading my bible, and listening to the Holy Spirit.There is no proven fact someone is "born that way". Only theories and speculation. There is no gay gene. If anyone chooses to live your life this way (homosexually) then like any other sin you deal wit the consequences yourself. [pt 2] I sound crazy and full of contradiction. I think it's just based on what I'd like to believe and what I'd like for it to be. Yes, I know the facts, but I still will question things each day. I think if someone who's gay shouldn't be shunned in the church. It's like, yes they go to church, and I don't think they'll engage in that type of behavior while in church. They can do it outside of the church, because that's their lifestyle. I just don't think people should drive them away.
[pt 1I get the gene & homosexuality from your standpoint. That makes a lot of sense. I grew up Christian, but along the way I've developed my own beliefs while still holding true to Christian beliefs. That being said, I do think God meant something when he said homosexuality was a sin in the Old Testament, but God still loves the person. You said it was a sin, and I believe that but I also believe it's not. It ties in with my belief that homosexuality isn't a choice, but then again..
@BaldButWigged look its this simple. God didn't make a mistake. He called it contrary to His will makin it sin. He says it more than once in the Bible. If you make that choice be prepared for the consequences that come with it. God still loves you. But you gone have to deal wit the hole you dig for yourself regardless.
@AtownKid18 I get tired of what these christians saying what the bible is Gods word. It is not. It is a collection of believers writings and rewritings,and rewriting views about their God. Thus is left up to his human interpretation, likes and dislikes. Kinda like really, he is the one who's god.... hmm
@MrKelaross its simple the words written in the Bible are God breathed. They are so all others will know the truth. It is a guide to life just like any instruction manual is how to use or build something. But if you choose not to use it then you reap the consequences of your choice. Simple as that. I won't judge you for that choice you already have a judgment to face.

@AtownKid18 Yes actually on the natural side, most scientists agree that there is some chromasonal links to same sex attraction. I think im done also, but come out on the outside of the leather binds and you will see alot of things you didnt know before. 1. A prayer life is a must to know Gods direct heart. 2. Gain independent knowledge, from all sides. the real truth always present itself. 3. Then with innocent heart, ask God for yourself.
