The more I think on this, the more I feel okay about going to Ohio. Some tell me it's not the best idea i've ever had, but I feel it is. It's one of those 'I have no idea wot the hell i'm doing, but here goes,' moments.

I certainly think you have the right idea. After loosing a close friend who was only 27, I understand. I can't help to wake up everyday and think of how lucky I am to be well, have friends and loved ones who I share my life with. What is important in life? It's the people who are in your life and a part of your life, past and present. I hope your travels bring you much joy, love, friendship, and people that can be a part of your life and yours with their life.

Last year my belly kept getting bigger and I went to the hospital and they told me that I needed to take a few pounds off. I ended up at another Hospital that diagnosed me with third stage cancer. They found a six pound tumor that was connected to my bladder, ovaries and kidneys. I also had a tumor on my spine and another one is still on my spleen. I had six months of chemo & my nine month remission checkup is next week.
I admire you for embracing life and just living it to the utmost. You learned a hard lesson - my Grandmother(who I was very close to) only lived 10 days after being diagnosed with cancer...
You've been given these new friends as a gift and given these awesome opportunities to travel - So- go man, go!
