This song isn't about a christian god, a hebrew god, a greek god or any sort of pagan god. . . this song is about the godself that is collective consciousness, all of your surroundings and life. God is divinity. It doesn't need a book ro a label or a saviour. if you can't be your own saviour your in need of something a lot more significant than a book of poetic language that was only ever meant to be interpreted and used as more of a guideline. It's the people along the way that corruped it.

If I tell you that you are free but if you do it will spend eternity in hell, are you free? If I tell you that you have the freedom of speech but if you execute that freedom you will go to jail, do you have that freedom? God deters you from certain things therefore you are not free as it is a bondage to keep you from doing something.
