Sorry, but in most cases, this is a phantom tweak.This is virtual RAM. The computer goes for physical RAM first, i.e. the RAM you have without this tweak. It's faster to access the physical RAM, and the virtual ram will just take up hard drive space until you run out of physical RAM. You can check how much you're using by opening the task manager. At the bottom, it'll show how much physical memory (RAM) you use.

@dannymiedema no the 1 GB is the normal use of your computer but when you run a program that takes more than 1 GB of RAM he change to 3 GB

yes you do just say you have 2gb ram and a 300gb hard drive and you set it at 3000 and 5000 mb you will loose 3gb of you hard drive space and it will be added to your ram
