I think you did a pretty good job of this, but it seemed to run out of energy near the end. One other thing, it's best not to put talking people in a video clip that only has music. Other than that, well done.
James Cameron while he was making Aliens back in 1985 contacted Gerry Anderson and asked him if he could do a big screen version of Thunderbirds. Apparently Cameron was a huge fan of the show and wanted to make a big budget to the show faithful big screen version. However Anderson didn't know who Cameron was at the time because he was a new director. Shame because look at the crap we got in the end. With Cameron in charge it would have kicked ass.
Agree on the film being bad, but all the tech, ships and such were really well designed, well except for FAB1, should have been more Rolls Royce and less new Beetle if you asked me. Someone needs to remake the TV series with all new CG.

It should have been a much better effort. I understand that a new CGI TV series based on the original is in the works as of 2011. .
Does any one know of any incidental music used during scenes of rescues. I seem remember a theme that was ysed which had a sense of drama and mechanical or industrial quality to it. There is a very similar series ike this in the 90's besides Starfleet. Some of the characters include a black female singer and some robots that could roll up into a ball. The villain is actually like a witch, there is also an episode named "Cold Finger" as one of the Villains. Can somebody tell me the title of that series please?

Also, watching the CGI here makes me realise just how impossible it is for Thunderbird 2 to fly. I mean, that huge body and those tiny wings? at least the fact that none of the original show was realistic kinda distracted you from that.

OMG this was my favorite show when I was a kid. I never missed it! I was trying to explain it to my wife just a couple days ago. I never thought I'd see those silly puppets again.
Well the original show was awesome, despite the limitations of 1960s tv tech, and this movie was just awful. None of the originals charm and camp as hell, something the show was never like. I hope that someday soon they make a legitimate attempt to bring this show back, live action with today's CGI and none of the Disney/Family channel crap of kids having to save the world through the use of complex technology, due to the adults' gross incompetence.

Oh my God! Thunderbirds 2, 4, and 5 are unrecognizable! The CG looks so fake.
In the original series the vehicles had a slightly dirty / used look to them as if they had been in action. The atrocities look to clean and shiny.

I'm sorry to say the film was terrible. Anderson was right in what he said a pile of shit. They decided to turn the Kyrano's into Indian instead of chinese & who the hell was the women with Kyrano & who the hell is fermat!, film was a usual American kiddy shit. I mean the series was mainly for kids but kept the adult entertained they made it realistic as possible. Though the film making the kids save the day, no affence that would never happen in the real world. End Of Part 1

Okay there was some good bits in the film, though what angered me was they changed it making the Kyrano family indian than chinnese. Also who the hell is fermat!, the whole thing was made for the kids the film. The tv series was mainly for the kids but tried to keep the adults entertained aswell. Frakes was an arsehole he dropped Anderson to be one of the writers of the film. Inorder so Frakes can do it is way.

@lostthe80s Too bad, but Working Title Film, the company who produced this movie, is British. But you're partially right. Jonathan Frakes is American. And yes, hollywood is screwing up a lot of productions. Best remedy for me is just not watching them and just keeping your old sentiments alive.

Well the original show was awesome, despite the limitations of 1960s tv tech, and this movie was just awful. None of the originals charm and camp as hell, something the show was never like. I hope that someday soon they make a legitimate attempt to bring this show back, live action with today's CGI and none of the Disney/Family channel crap of kids having to save the world through the use of complex technology, due to the adults' gross incompetence.

Well done on the making of this, you made it look ten times more interesting than the finished product did in the cinema! I sat and watched it with my son who was 7 at the time, around the same age as I was when the original show was on TV. As I sat there wondering how on earth this tripe got to be made the icing on the cake was when my boy piped up..."Dad, this is rubbish..can we go see Garfield instead "
