Actually it isn't at exactly the same time. It's actually pretty easy to do.

The controller on the back button you press slightly before the name entry one. So it's not at the exact same time. The back button one is slightly before.

This is a EPIC find!! Also, you can continue playing the game w/o resetting if you play on stamina mode, since it bypasses the victory screen in that special mode.

You can unlock Master Hand. You have to beat the story mode with all characters on hard without losing any damage. You just unlock hand, beat it on hard with all characters without losing a life. There is also a hand better than master hand, when you do it on hard without any damage, but you cant unlock it. (Unless if its doing the first thing but consecituvely, which im not even going to attempt to try)

haha! if you put ssbm in the wii and do the same thing except put the P3 controller into P4 and do the glitch, restart your wii and start the match at the same time and the game freezes and shows a picture of yoshi.

This is definitely one of the best glitches recently discovered. I'm surprised this actually works. Normally "codes" that allow boss control without hacks are either random jokes or RickRolls, but this is a genuine glitch, alright! For once, a boss control thing that works, the ultimate in VG rarities! Whoever first discovered this glitch, I tip my non-existant hat to them. I also tip it to you, for being the first one to show it to the public.

I got it to work. It doesn't have to be on player 3 controller port either. You can activate Master Hand with Slot 4 too, but you still have to be plugged into port 3 to control him.
