  • As a note, you should always support all four legs while holding a rabbit. I'm kind of shocked this video (at around 0:55 shows the woman just letting his legs dangle--very bad idea!) as it's supposed to be an educational video....

  • @Kalinkinaful Assuming she's super familiar with that particular rabbit and it's very comfortable with her and doesn't mind too too much as the nose is pretty quiet but in handling rabbits in general, don't ever do that! They're ground creature and tend to get very scared/kick when their legs aren't supported.

  • I'm excited for my new apartment. My rabbit gets to have his own bedroom. (:

  • i wanna adopt that 2 cute white bunniessssssss!!!!!!!!!!!! sadly im in philippines too. lol

  • my rabbit died on the 1st, were getting a new one soon. i love rabbits

  • I love you video my name is Connor I have wanted a rabbit ever sins I was a boy I am 9 I think rabbits should be given to the write family I loved you video from 284 Connor.

  • I've never understood how anyone could keep a rabbit in a cage. An enclosure, sure. They naturally gravitate toward enclosures since they're earthy creatures that build warrens to live in. That only makes sense. But a tiny cage? That's just cruel.

  • CUTE!!!

  • @rainbowXsmurfs It really depends on the rabbit and how you treat them. Now if you have dogs , I suggest you keep your rabbit away from them, no matter how big or how "sweet" they are. I was once walking adrenaline in my yard on a rabbit leash, and my mom had let her dogs out not knowing I was walking my rabbit, and three small dogs began attacking and biting my rabbit. I had grabbed the dogs and threw them off him and put my rabbit back in his hutch and checked him for any scars or anything. H

  • @rainbowXsmurfs it's doesnt matter whether it's male or female as long as its spayed/neutered. That as well decreases aggression that might trigger nipping.

  • my rabbit lived 2 days ;(

  • Hi(: I am 12 an di really want a rabbit. I am really responsible. I have 2 dogs... SHould i get a boy or girl? and my father said they bite A LOT.. WOuld they? I used to have a guinea pig when i was 8. i tought him when he was snacky when i would open the fridge he would make noise.. he was cute. i REALLY want one.. (: Boy or girl. Good idea/?

  • Cool beans

  • My science teacher recently adopted a rabbit from someone who didn't want it anymore-- it's let out of it's cage all day allowed to free run in the room. I love how during a test, a rabbit will just hop by...

  • I want a pet rabbit, but i don't have any room because they're taken up by reptiles

  • What happens if you take them out of the cage thing and let them walk around?

  • @SAstrawberries Actually it is recommended that rabbits are let out of their cage for at least 2 hours per day so that they can move about a bit more. When you let your rabbit out it is important to do so in a rabbit-safe area. One must make sure that all cords and other harmful objects are out of reach for the rabbit. Also, to keep valued possessions away from the rabbit, it is none but your own fault if it gets ruined ;)

  • I Adopted my 6month old bunny Sable from the Oregon humane society:) And she is litterally AMAZING shes stubern just like me so we get along great xD I got her almost a year ago and i was 14 when i got her and im the only 1 that takes care of her and i would NEVER lose intrest in her. If your thinking of adopting a bunny make sure you know EVERYTHING about them first. And also you really really have to be commited cuz its hard work.:))

  • Where is the Marin Humane Society ? Some of my family members want to adopt some . :)

  • i came to this video cuz i thought ur username was marijuana man

  • aaaah!! stop petting the bunny like that is bothering me (i don't even know why)

  • @andypeluche96 i tough it was bad to hold them without supporting their back legs?

  • my rabbits dislike me...i take care of them, i clean their cage, i feed them treats from time to time and i also try to pet them and i always approach them carefully... any tips?

  • wow your humane society is expensive! my bunnies here are only 10 dollars!

  • @camerafreak12345678

Don't worry I'm 13 and this weekend I'm goof to get to foster bunny! They know how young I am and they know I can take care of the animal just prove your responsibility!

  • 1:38 thts how my two rabbits looked like =D

  • Hey !! i really really REALLY! want a bunny and my dad said yes but are bunnies at the petshop good? i want to get one form humain society but there 50$ i thought they were 25$ and i am really nervous for the interview cause my mom is going to help me out with the bunny but like its going to be mine and i am only 13. i wanted a bunny since i was 4....?! what should i do!

  • @Camerafreaks12345678 It's best to adopt one, definitely. Though more money if you adopt, the one you get will already be spayed or neutered, so you won't have to deal with any hormone changes you'd get with a pet store one. Pet shops shouldn't be allowed to sell rabbits, there are SO many buns at adoption centers in need of good homes.

  • @silversky2668 It's cheaper to adopt one in the long run. Have you ever spayed a rabbit? I have. IT COST $179. Neutering one is $100. I've adopted 2 rabbits in the past for $60, and they were already litter trained. If they're not fixed, expect to pay for LOTS of destruction if you let them out in your house!

  • @girlmeetsgun I meant that people usually balk at adopting because it sometimes cost $75 or a bit more to adopt the rabbit initially, while pet stores sell for $25-$30 or so. I just worded my answer wrong :-) Yes, it is definitely cheaper in the long run, but people who buy from pet stores don't usually think about neutering or spaying until they realize "Hey, my rabbit is suddenly spraying everywhere and attacking my hand and I don't know why."

  • Will my cat get along with a rabbit? He's been my only pet for the past 5 years.

  • o.o the rabits' personalities sounds alot more like my dogs.

  • I have a adopted rabbit we dont know exactly how old he is but he is a bout a year and three months and in order to get him out of the cage we need a glove he fights and bites the other rabbits!

  • where is the marin humane society?

  • It always irks me when people confine an animal in a cage (not an enclosure) and wonder why when the animal becomes psychotic. It actually is a form of environmentally-induced psychosis because it prevents the animal from doing what it's supposed to do. It would be like keeping an aardvark in a concrete cell with no dirt to dig in and then punishing the creature for hurting itself while trying to dig its way out.

  • Were is this pet store

  • actually my parents dont really like my bunny, but ive had her for a year now, andi havnt lost any interest. and i will probably be living at home in collage and for the first year when you are forced to stay at a dormroom ( most collages do ) my little twin brothers will take care of her until i get back :)

  • they r sooooo big!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey I've been thinking of adopting a rabbit and I found a local shelter w/ a bunch. I found one but she's all ready 7 years old. She's spayed but shes also a purebred. I feel bad for her cuz she's been in the shelter for over 2 months (it's a no-kill shelter). I do feel bad but I don't want the heartbreak of her dieing soon after I get her. Should I get her anyways or a younger one? Any insight will help. thanks

  • not as big a commitment as a chinchilla! 20 years man 20 years

  • she sounds like the girl that talks after the news guy/girl says ty for your time heres (name) and then she talks

  • where is your shelter located? and does it have a email or a website

  • Hello, I have adopted two young female rescue rabbits (they will be 12 weeks old this week). I can see you talk a lot about spaying rabbits. At what age is it best to spay them? Also, they are still a bit shy at the moment. Any advice?

  • @AngelLullabye It is best to spay females at 4 months. If the rabbits are shy to you, put them in a place where they see your presence everyday, like at a place near your computer, your bed, somewhere that you go often. They will see that you are not a threat and eventually go over to say hi. Then you may start petting them, or talking to them softly.

  • i have one question i have a rabbit they live in a wooden hutch we sprayed it with kills but before they had a fungus on there feet and face also ears that got treated but it came back we are treating it again but my brothershat both testecles but mine only has one would you happen to know why?

  • how much do yoiu charge to adopt each bunny, i want to adopt, but i went to a shelter and they were like 100 dollers each, when breeders were selling them for 5, i want to adopt, but they are too expensive. How much does it cost to spay and neuter them

  • I love my rabbits! They really are great pets. :) I don't spay or neuter mine because I show them. The males have all had great personalities and the does are great too, although they do go through a very territorial stage.

  • can a rabbit or bunny travel with me in a plane?

  • stop petting its eyes

  • Imma gonna pet ma rabbit now, bb

  • @Snowiethebunny Oops sorry.. Anyways you can take a warm damp washcloth and rub her fur to dry to get loose fur out..(:

  • @Snowiethebunny You can try brushing her/him and taking a w

  • @b7ray32 You cant just let domesticated rabbits go? They have no idea how to survive.

  • IM 11 AND MY CLASS HAS A BUNNY BUT THEN MY FIRNED HAD TO TAKE HIM HOME CUZ MY TEACH LET HER AND SO WHEN MY MOM GETS A HOUSE SHE SAID I CAN ADOT A BUNNY I KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT

  • @MrNasirsmith im 11 too!

  • @MsKaylee100 :) 2 11 year old bunny lovers

  • @MsKaylee100 2 11 year old bunny lovers

  • This is a very informative video, and well done I think. Some question, hoping you can reply: why cant the females and males be in separate areas and not murdered?

We need to find ways to respect ALL spirit souls, we are not the only ones that have thoughts, feelings and - a soul. More and more no-kill shelters are springing up. Maybe some day yours will convert........

    2. Don't the rabbits grow out of their natural behavours such as growling, lunging, etc? Without surgery?

  • @meriprem In my experience, most "mean" rabbits will either grow out of it or can be worked with until they begin to trust humans and not misbehave. Personally I don't think it's necessary to spay/neuter a rabbit unless there's a big chance it will somehow get pregnant and breed unwanted babies. I don't "believe in" spaying/neutering simply to change behavior.

  • I really want a rabbit but my mom won't let me get one. Any tips on how to convince her?

  • @psychoguy1017 It depends on why she won't let you get one. If it's because she thinks you can't take care of it, try getting a job pet-sitting or taking care of someone else's rabbit to see what it's like and show you can do it. That's how I started out with horses...

  • i want to adopT.but i am in philippines"(

  • @21wisdOm11 same lol but theres pet shops that they sell rabbits for cheap ?

  • I have a problem my white albino is shredding hair all year round no one likes to hold her other than me so how can I help this

  • marinhumane i work at a local petstore i special in bunnys and cats im am thinking about getting a rabbit what size cage do i need i already have a hamster hermit crabs turtles and fish + a dog. so i know the cleaning and feeding and the life span . I ALSO WANTED TO PUT IN IF YOUR GOING TO GET A RABBIT FIND A FRIEND WHO HAS A RABBIT AND LEARN HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT AND SEE IF YOUR UP TO THE JOB. plz reply back

  • I LOVE rabbits :)

  • I used to have gray rabbit that I got for Easter when I was 5.

I didn't know how to treat it and got bored of her after a month.

I really regret it and miss my rabbit (she died after a 4 year life in a cage).

I really want another one but we already have 3 dogs and 3 cats so my parents said no :(

  • Do you know what breed the rabbit is with the black "mascara" around the eyes and white fur? In one scene he/she is coming out of a carrier. My fiance and I just adopted a rabbit who is quite similar and were trying to decide on what breed he is, we were thinking either Mini Rex or English Spot. He also has a tuft of unruly hair on his head, making us think he has a bit of Lionhead in him.

  • @LordVindicta I believe you have a Dwarf Hotot rabbit :)

  • @LordVindicta If it was a mini rex you would know by the velvety fur - only mini and standard rexes have that fur. I couldn't say what he is without seeing him though.

  • how long does it take for a female to fully mature and reach full size

  • is it normal for a cat to be scared of a rabbit?

  • How much does it usually cost to have a rabbit spayed or neutered?

  • @XxXMsLovelyXxX you can adopt an already spayed and neutered rabbit for around thirty and forty dollars

  • You look kinda like a rabbit (thats a compliment)

  • ummm where are you guys located? and how do you adopt the rabbits?

  • ...If you're rabbit is pissed, CUT IT'S BALLS OFF!

  • Alot of the youtube videos on how to care for your bunny are so wroung but this one is great! thank you!

  • Never had the strength to put an animal into a shelter, always busted my butt finding any animal a home...And I tell everyone to do the same, every animal deserves a chance at a new life :)

  • Help me get a rabbit I haunt asked my parents yet

  • I love my bunny! There aren't any shelters within 50 miles from me so I bought him from a great pet store, and he got a thorough vet checkup. He unfortunately is not fixed, which is one of the pluses to adopting, because they're already fixed. my bunny is so sweet, but they aren't just simple cage animals - they need a lot of playing.

  • I GOT MINE OCTOBER 11 2011 4:12PM AND RITE NO IS DECEMBER 23 AND I GO TO SCHOOL AND I NEVER FORGET ABOUT MY RABBIT AND I ALWYS CARE FOR IT

  • They live 10 to 12 years? Mine died when it was 4.. =[

  • How do i spay/neuter my rabbit?

  • what I find most interesting is that when she goes to pet any of the rabbits they just kinda curl up and sit there like "okay, I can do this for a while." they don't put up a big fuss or anything.

  • I am in my junior year of high school and animals are a passion so i know I'm going to just get it and leave it. I'm supposed to be getting one around the holidays and i would like to know how much is it to spay/neuter a rabbit?

  • Are rabbits just as smart as, say a cat or dog? Are there techniques for helping them get used to contact with new people? Do they take blinking as a signal that they're not in danger, like cats do? Do they like submissive gestures like averting out eyes? Do they recognize their names?

  • All 3 of my rabbits were killed by a dog. :( :( :(

  • @connieriley Oh, that sucks! I'm sorry. My cats and dog are what would keep me from getting one. For now anyway.

  • do you have macaws

  • i have a nearky 2 year old rabbit and he is not sprayed if i dont spray him will he live shorter and van i spray him when he is 2?? pls help

  • my rabbit doesnt like me..she is skittish and goes to the potty a ton.she is a large rabbit and is not spayed.i think a double maned lionhead is cute and they r smaller.

    help?

  • Hi I'm wanting to get my first rabbit the only place nearby that I'm aware of is the pet store is it ok to get one from there?

  • I am 14 and really want a rabbit, but i have a dog haha. My mom says no other animals until i show responsibility for my dog (bella) :D they are very cute though.

  • can u keep a bunny in the basement

  • awww when you said that the thing about the high school kids not wanting them that made me sad but you guys seem to be taking really good care of them! if only i can convince my parents to get a bunny...i'd never get tired of it!!!

  • If you absolutely adore animals, done all of the research, and have planned out your future with the pet will the child lose interest? I'm 98% sure I wont lose interest but I'm scared that I might or i wont be able to care for it because I'm entering High School soon. Any tips?

  • my rabbit is cute and brown i want to ask if you pull the rabbits ears will they get an infection ???? plz answer some one

  • @2coolcaro yh they will get infected as they are really sensative. don't pull on rabits ears it stresses them out and gives them bad habbits

  • I wish I could hold my bunny. She was mistreated as a baby and she won't let anyone hold her at all. The lady at at the store where I bought her picked her by the ears. I was horrified.

Rabbits are wonderful pets. I love mine dearly. I used to eat rabbit, now the mere thought of it makes me gag. It literally makes me feel disgusted.

  • my rabbit is 4 in august and shes doing really well im almost postivie she is now deaf because i cal her and call her and she wont come to me until she sees me, can i ask if rabbits going deaf is common? and what the average life expectancy is? i have had her since 8 weeks old and if going deaf at 4 is common and if there is any extra care she needs. i would ask my vet but i dont trust him with my rabbit he knows nothing, shes on organic pellets (half a cup a day) and fresh fruit and vegetables

  • @draco3113 Most indoor rabbits live to be about 10-12 yrs. I did read where deaf rabbits seem to adapt pretty easily. The HRS website also has a vet search option, so maybe you can find a better vet? Her diet should be 2-3 tabls of pellets, has much hay as she can eat (Timothy and/or Orchard Grass Hay) and veggies. I have a friend with a deaf rat and she has trained him to come to her using hand signals. She rewards him when he comes with treat. Maybe you could do that with your rabbit?

  • @marinhumane Question are rabbits rodents or mispiral aminals, sorry if I spelled it wrong I just want to know?

  • @marinhumane How can I set up my home for a rabbit? i have a small room. can they stay in a cage? Do they get fleas?

  • Where are you guys located I want to adopt rabbits from you when I get another I have hamsters rabbits guinea pigs and chinchillas if I ever get another animal I will definatley contact you

  • im thinking of getting one, they are so cute. i really want to be able to hold it. could you teach your rabbit to get used to being held alot? how? do they smell? do they ever bite you?

  • im getting a rabbit but my parents say i have to keep it out side! we live by woods with cyotes what should i do???? please write back!!!

  • I volunteer at an animal shelter working with the bunnies. but, I was very upset to find out that some patrons who adopt the rabbits keep them outside. Shouldn't house bunnies stay in the house so they won't be suseptible to predators, extreme weather conditions, and continue to be socialized? I don't know if I'm overreacting or not on this stand. Any thoughts? I'm really upset about this and hope to talk to an adoption manager about educating their counselors on this.

  • this makes me want to hug my rabbit :)

  • instead of euthanizing the "extra" rabbits, why don't you use them as food sources? Ok kill them in a humane way obviously! But don't just bury/incinerate the bodies, use them as food. Honestly, rabbit meat tastes very good. It's a waste of resources.

  • do you spay all of your female rabbits at the shelter?

  • hi my name is austin im 13 and i live in a 2 house neigbor hood alone and i was wondering if i adopted a 5 month old rabbit would that be good i have no pets cause i get home at late noon and a dog woould be to much is a rabbit the same or can i feed it at like 4 or 5

  • Do you know of any rabbit rescues or somewhere that has rabbits for adoption other than a pet store that is around Springfield, Mo?

  • how much i pay for adopt a rabbit

  • I spotted a rabbit under my house in Hawaii.

    IN HAWAII!!!

  • Hi my girl rabbit isnt spayed and i might get another girl rabbit that might not be spayed either AND they never met before will they do well together??? It will really help THNX!!!

  • does the rabbit have to be neutterd ??please some one answer

  • Male rabbits dont have to be neutered unless there are some behavior issues (lunging/territoriality/growling/marking etc.). And, of course, if you have a female that hasnt been spayed! Female rabbits should be spayed after they are at least three months old. If they are not spayed they are almost certain to get cancer by the age of five and most likely die of it.

  • i love my rabbit hes awesome and loves being petted. But at one point he was territorial and aggressive but i trained him to be so calm without having to nutter him. Best pet by far i have owned.

  • OMG!! I didn't know they were so docile... : ) I want one now! I want a cuddle bunny : ) . This is the perfect per for me : ) quiet and I can litter box train him : ) YEY me happy : ) . What is the youngest i can spay or neuter?

  • @DontKickmySocks

I understand dat da reality of nature is distressin. It's not all green trees, pretty flowers n golden rays of sunshine... Carnivores find nutrition in da flesh of other animals. U need 2 grow up n accept dat!

I wuv Wabbits 2! I even breed dem myself, n I must say dere is a wonderful satisfaction in caring n nurturing for a Wabbit - Havin dem eat of my hand, lick my fingers n lie down next to me...

Feedin dem 2 my Snake wen dey're old enuf completes da puzzle.

  • I wish I could adopt one! The thing is ... I live in portugal :( And definitely wouldn't want to stress the bunny with SUCH a long journey. I hope they find kind owners. I'm against pet shops and breeders. Adopt them! Don't buy them, because that would encourage the shops to bring more from the breeders where they are badly treated.

  • i didnt knoe they could be litter trained. always was my concern on getting one the mess they can make heh guess i was wrong.

  • I have one bunny, but unfortunately my parents won't let me make her a house bunny, but she's awesome =) I bring her in the house for a long time each day :)

  • Im glad that there are videos like this to help people. Because alot of people dont understand there is alot of responsibility with rabbits. They are amazing pets so fortunate to have one!

  • can i train my rabbit to be in a harness or is it called a collar so that it could be with a leash? plz answer back

  • i have seen bunny's in a harness before. there heads to weak for a collier. they got alot of kicking power and can hurt themselves and even brake there own necks with a collier why you will never see one on a rabbit/. but a harness is doable as long as the rabbit does not get to afraid of being on it.

  • Thank you for all the information because I am just trying to mkae sure I am giving my bunnies the care they need

  • i love bunnys look at my acount name i would never ever forget about a rabbit i care more about a rabbit then my friends im a total rabit lover mine is named licorice

  • were is the marin humane society

  • I think it's definitely better to adopt than buy. They receive better care, they are socialized better, and they are already fixed (which makes a HUGE difference in their behavior), not to mention you get better education on their care b/c most of the time pet store workers don't know what they're talking about. I have a an english angora and a lionhead, both breeds you don't see often and I got both of them from shelters.

  • I never though rabbits were so loving. And I really want one. But I've never had an animal of my own. I plan on buying one soon or next year probably.

Are rabbits really really good pets? I'm a teenager lol, and vegan, and I'm home schooled if i get a rabbit than I won't go back to school... I'll stay home schooled are they?

  • I have two bunnies. They make awesome pets. They are quiet and very clean. You do need to bunny proof your home especially if you don't plan on caging it. I don't cage mine b/c they're litter trained. My buns sleep in my bed with me every night, always greet me when I come home, they're like quiet dogs lol. Go to rabbit(dot)org and you can get a better idea of the care they need and what not

  • Is there a place like this in Arizona?

  • I think it's kinda funny they put bunnies in a cage. You put rapid destructive things in a cage, then there is a cute bunny in there.:P

  • Where are located in Marin County, California just north of San Francisco!

  • great advice!

It's realy hard to find helpful videos about pet care!

some channels like "expert village" or "ehow" are pathetic and never actualy teach us anything.

Im glad I have found this video! Im subscribing to your channel.

  • i received a rabbit today, before he was made into soup, although he urinated on my bed several times and i just made him a pooper bin..

  • So sweet. Those poor abandoned bunnies. T.T My bunny was from a shelter, too.

  • very helpful.

  • I really want a drawf bunny . Anyone knows how big they can get ? (maxmium pls )

  • i reccomend a holland lop lovecutethingy cuz i was going to get a dwarf and i found out dwarfs rabbits are mean i find holland lops more mellow and cute there like little dogs lol

  • cute

  • Great advice!

  • why are u not sporting the rabbits bum?

  • hello, I'm wondering whether to get a cat or a rabbit. Does it stress the rabbits a lot when u just sit down and pat them or have them on ur lap for a long time? and does toilet training take long for a rabbit?

  • i think you should get a rabbit it better but it more wirk there are like cats but you decide and tell me what u got cause i think a bunnie rabbit is cute

  • :) I just wanted to say I got a little bunny from the SPCA. She's soo cute! Thank you!

  • I have a male bunny that 5-6 months and he was soo nice and cuddley now hes nipping and scratching what should i do??

is it good to get him neutered?

and also id like to know how to pick up a bunny i watched to manny vidos about it .

so write me back and maybe sen me back a real and true way to pick the rabbit up thank you hope i hear back!!!

    from:Ashley

  • Yes! Do neuter him, it can reduce cancer and will make your bunny a lot more calm and happy. They're really nice and cuddly; except they're like humans and have feelings and can get grouchy if they don't get proper care or enough exercise, etc.

  • You can get lots of good advice from your local animal shelter, Humane Society, or SPCA. You can also talk to your vet.

  • my pet bunny died now i have biscuit we are getting him nuetur thursay mornig

  • I want to get a Rabbit at a Humane shelter but here at our Humane shelter theres never small animals here like rabits and so on.But that makes me happy caz then it makes me think that means everyone here in my towen dose not want to get rid if there rabit caz they love him or her.

  • if im busy alot in the afternoon and i have two dogs, is a rabbit a good pet for me? i really want one and i think i would be great but i would like to hear your opition

  • 2 dogs are fine with rabbits. BUT you must make sure your dog does not get into the rabbits cage/pen because The rabbit might get eaten. Make sure when you let your rabbit roam,Make sure the dog is Away from the rabbit at ALL Times

  • i have a bunny and it keeps attaking my hand when i put it in the cage does that mean he needs to be neutered??? please

answer i need to know cause where im thinking it's 123$ and i need to know so if i should make my appointment!!!!!

  • If you're having behavioral issues with your rabbit, you should talk to your vet about them. Good luck!

  • dude, can rabbits sleep on same bed as owners like cats do?

im a quiet type of person and have an orange cat that sleeps with me(if he doesnt jump and play on me), so can they co-exist?

  • No, It could be either squished by you and sometimes if it slept over the day when your sleeping it might Run away and chew on Items you may not want to be chewed so Leave it in it's cage/pen

  • mine is house rabbit in the whole kitchen

  • im getting a dwarf rabbit and its going to have a 40 something or more inches long and i got the HUGE cage for $40

  • it is for me and how much are they and do they stink

  • Bunnies don't smell if you keep their cages clean! It costs $40 to adopt a rabbit from the Marin Humane Society; check the price at your local animal shelter.

  • thank you i really want a bunny! your videos help me alot

  • like the other person said if you keep the cages clean and groom them once a week also the cost like $40-75 dollars MAKE SURE TO SPADE OR NUETUER YOUR RABBIT WHEN ITS OLD ENOUGH

  • I've read that rabbits make poor pets because they're prey animals, so they tend to be skittish.

I definitely prefer cats because they're so playful and energetic.

  • Jeta, five year old house rabbit, will play with a ball, bink and dance a lot, play tag and loves to cuddle. He also does tricks! Yes they are prey animals but so are cats... so to each their own.

    hop hop

  • Actually, cats are primarily predators. Yes, they can fall prey to other animals, but they evolved as predators, so their behaviors reflect that fact.

  • what beautiful, calm rabbits!
