  • This is a completely amazing job, well done. I actually have a idea for a WALLE model, although not with the detail and professionalism of your work. I want to build it for my niece and nephew who are WALLE daft. :). Do you have a club or web-site I could get advice and ideas from? Thanks, Paul

  • @Sparta2310

    Goto w w w . wallebuilders . c o m

  • love this =) good work!

  • Since this video Tom has rebuilt his WALL-E with more detail.

Search for wizojoz to see his latest update.

    Scot

  • Well done!

  • that is so cool how u can acutally make this! wow i wish i could do that

is it bigger than the ultimate wall-e toy?

  • Yes, This one is about 18" across the top of his body.

    Scot

  • Tom's WALL-E will be remote controlled.

Just like the R2 Builders replica R2-D2's some of the members of our club will use their robots to visit kids in childrens hospitals to make them happy.

WALL-E is a popular character that young and old enjoy and taking him to conventions and charity events will serve a good purpose.

In short making a replica WALL-E is worth quite a bit and shows the tallents of the builder.

    Scot

  • Thats awsome. Great work so far.

  • it would been cool if it came alive

  • Sometime soon we will have him mobile.

    Scot

  • who's jerry green?

  • Jerry Greene is the CAD Guru from the R2 Builders that has taken on the task of generating the WALL-E Builders Clubs drawings.

  • It looks 10x more accurate than a lot of the Wall-e figurines and toys manufactured by toy companies

  • Thanks,

The level of detail in our drawings allow the builder to create a very accurate replica.

We didn't use a toy or screen captures to create our drawings rather some very good orthographic images.

We should have WALL-E rolling this year.

    Scot

  • really no screen captures you maybe shouldn't of skipped that but it looks good anyway

  • The images we have are good enough that we did not need screen captures.

    Scot

  • did you finish him in time =) ?

  • I'm sure Tom will post another video soon, either here of on his wizojoz channel.

    Scot

  • Wow that's awesome. Do you happen to have any links to a blueprint/something similar? I'm thinking of trying my hand at modeling him in 3D.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • Follow the link in our channel at the top left.

We have dimensional drawings on the Original WALL-E Builders Club on Yahoo.

    Scot

  • Looks great!

How do you get the parts formed? I've never worked with resin. Thanks.

  • I am thouroughly IMPRESSED! I'm inspired, and i compliment your ability, it looks great! WALL-E is amazing!

  • There is more to see on the Original WALL-E Builders Club.

  • The bad thing is. i always brake the arm and the leg....i wish when it is completed it will be stronger.

  • Oh.... and also.. i'm not a good engineer.. so it is not as strong as yours.. and the edge will not be straight... it will look abit crappy. hope to see your response soon...XD

  • oh!!!!! scot.... thanks i may put it in youtube.. but now... as far I completed the arm.. next step is the finger. and the treds are almost like in the movie... only shorter. The floor in Wall-e garbage crusher can move up and down and its storagable. the arm can move all the way down like in the movie. And i'm fomr thailand. so my english may be wrong.. LOL.

  • but i guess eve is possible...LOL.Also i'm trying to complete wall-e thatt can transform..but i change some details and body size...so it may fit....Also it is going by well..but it will not be strong..

By the way... Good luck tom.

  • If you make him like the transformable toy it will work to some extent.

They had to change his arms and tracks to accomplish it.

    Good luck on your project.

    Scot

  • Possible? Eve's technology won't be aroundfor hundreds of years. Sure we have plasma-related things like in her arm, but none that small...

  • Do anybody do a wall-e that can transform??? Like in the movie.

    If yes ... please answer.

  • WALL-E does not have enough room inside of him to allow his head, arms and tracks to retract and deploy.

Also the amount of friction caused by the track would prevent him from doing this as well.

Not to mention the radio, batteries and motors that will fill his body.

  • i'm working on one... only i have no experience in engineering. Its drawn and written on paper and i might send some photos to WALLEBUILDER, or i might have them available on my account. i wont be making it physically anytime soon though, as i don't have the resources or money for it....

  • awesome

  • Hi,

My Wall E will in fact be full operational with RC control. It will have all the sounds and lights as well. Stay tuned.

    Thanks,

    Tom

  • Tom has both R/C and static robots in his collection.

I would say though since he has Johnny 5 experience WALL-E will be R/C.

But we will have to see what happens in the coming weeks.

    Scot

  • I think you're right, the kids are sure to have a blast with him! ^.- I can't even find out where to get plastic so all of my figures are made of bake clay, lol!

  • very, VERY cool... by "operational", do you mean this wall-e will be remote-controlled, or just a large posable character? i'm looking forward to seeing the weathered paintjob though, good luck!!
