@Handyman1714 Nice to hear from you, and thank you for the posting ! I first heard this song a few years ago now, say about 2004, on a weekly radio programme of oldies (circa 1950 - 1965) hosted on BBC Radio Two here in the UK by Suzi Quatro. She also played a few others, which I think were by the same singer (with or without the rest of the Drifters?), including "Hey Little Girl" and "Treasure of Love". All good stuff !
@Scotseasy welcome and Thank you for watching here,,yes am familiar with the song Treasure of love by him,,but dont think ever heard him do hey little girl,,might have to check it out and give a listen
@d820m Yes, of course it was ! Thank you for putting me right . I can only think of two records of Dee Clarks's that I've heard, "Hey Little Girl (in the High School Sweater)", and the ambiguously entitled "Just Keep It Up" (!), and I like them both a lot.
I remember this song. It was banned from every radio station but one in
Tulsa. Too suggestive. LOL This was in l954 Sixty Minute Man was
another one.

Such a happy song - always makes me feel good ! It's also so deliciuously ambiguous, though it was not perhaps meant to be !
