BUT, the left traps can go heavier weights and stronger than my right trap

Not only my traps are facing this prob

Even my biceps are having the same prob

Left bicep - smaller BUT stronger than the Right biceps.

    Im a lefthander

    Thanks for helping.

  • @RoyalsChamp5 - Why would you insult someone who asks for help? Why not rather try to offer some advice. That will make you a really good person. Baz

  • @hhhkkkhhhjkjki - we are all a bit bigger one side than the other. Most people do not notice it but often when you do notice it we tend to make it much worse than it is because we constantly compare. If you focus on the side that is smaller when you train it should balance out. Train with dumbbells so you can use bigger weights with the smaller side. Make sure you are getting enough rest between working the same muscle again. Min 48 hours. Baz

  • wow good vid

  • @ItssJayy1 - thanks. Baz

  • Very good advice there baz, thank you baz.

  • @habib077 - pleasure my friend and thanks a million for the support. Baz

  • @dudeofdouche - take a prohormone bro. M drol, d Bol, super drol, etc. Yeah there are health risked but if u don't research well enough. Get on a cycle and and u will thank me later. Fuck genetics.

  • @SDcbad - I am sure he will thank you later when he has no testicals to speak of and "bitch tits". This is poor advice and not welcome on my site. "Artifical Muscles" are never as attractive as natural muscles. Let the guys who want to compete ruin there lives. Baz

  • @BazBlog atta boy baz!! lol

  • @srslayerz - cheers. Baz

  • @BazBlog does taking whey means you are gaining artificial muscles too?

  • @GsxRaider - no whey protein is a mixture of globular proteins isolated from whey, the liquid material created as a by-product of cheese production. It comes from milk it is not an artificial product. You get protein in fish, meat, beans, nuts and several other foods. Whey is just a convenient way to get the protein you need for your muscles. Baz

  • @BazBlog Thanks, thanks alot! Really appreciate it! THANKS ALOT! XD

  • @dudeofdouche - pleasure my friend and good luck with your training. Baz

  • I'm a skinny man, this is impossible, I want to get bigger. Some say it's about gene, I will never get any bigger. Got me stressed! Somebody? Any advice?

  • @dudeofdouche - yes genetics has a lot to do with how big you will finally get. To get a lot bigger then you are is quite possible. It is going to depend on how you eat and how you train. I will send you some information. Baz

  • @dudeofdouche

take in alot of protein and lift heavy, but keep good form

  • @quadrider47 - It is important to remember that going over the required 1.5gm per kg body weight per day of protein is not going to make any difference with muscle formation and growth. The amount of carbs is what gains weight. Lifting very heavy 1-6 reps gains strength and med heavy will gain muscles. 8-12 rep range. Baz

  • @dudeofdouche MASS GAINER SUPPLEMENT... and put your dick to the fuckin grindstone and stick to a fuckin routine.... fuck sakes

  • Hi there, I was wondering if I should just do the same amount of sets as in any other exercises, for example 16,12,10,8,6,(superset), thanks :D.

  • @DirtySchoolBoy - yes you can do that for all exercises. Great combination rep training. Baz

  • really helpful vid!

  • @shredda23 - thanks. Baz

  • thanks heeps :D

  • @cr3am3dCAK3 - pleasure. Baz

  • Are you South African?

  • @keepthingscool1 - No I am from Zimbabwe. Baz

  • @BazBlog Do you still live in Zimbabwe?

  • @ShoutOutHk - no I live in the UK. I have been here for just over 10 years now. Baz

  • @BazBlog What made you want to leave?

  • @ShoutOutHk - my wife is from the UK and I just thought it was time for change. Baz

  • Wow, dint see those traps coming! Awesome stuff as usual :)

  • @MrZenic - thanks very much my friend. Baz

  • how long do you think it will take before it will show any results?

  • @21creed - It will take a few months before you will really notice a difference. A lot will depend on your eating. When you work hard muscles do not grow overnight. You must be patient. Baz

  • Ty ; )

  • @LiquidSER - NP. Baz

  • @BazBlog If I get home at 3 o'clock eat dinner 5-6 and falls asleep 10 when do you think is the best timing to train?

  • @LiquidSER - I would train at 3pm as soon as i get home. If that is no good I would train around 9pm. Baz

  • @BazBlog Okay, tanks! In other words I should not train near any big meal?

  • @LiquidSER - yes I would not train too close to a meal. Baz

  • Great vid.. Thanks

  • @madpaddy21 - pleasure and thank you. Baz

  • I was actually rolling my shrugs @ 45 kilos, delighted I saw your video now!

    Thank you sir.

  • @craiclord - Yes you can do some damage. You can imagine what is happening inside especially if you are using really heavy weights. Baz

  • Thanks baz :D very motivational

  • @MrPedosaurusRex - pleasure and that is a very nice thing to say. Baz

  • @ bazblog i am 17 right now.. i got pretty good chest biceps and triceps.. but i need my abs and traps up haha. And this helps, i tryin to get a body like Andrei Arlovski, if u know who he is, do you think it would be a hard body to get?

  • @THEIAN11 - you will need to lose body fat to get abs so have a look at the nutrition and fat burn videos. Shrugs will get you traps up. It will not be very hard to get a body like Andrei as it is not a very defined body but a good build for a fighter. He does carry a bit of excess fat. Baz

  • @BazBlog k sweet, because i do like to spar with my friends so if he has a good body for a fighter thats good, and i did try some of those trap workouts with dumbbells and barbells, and i gotta say they hurt 24 hours later, and that means progress :D so thank you very much

  • @THEIAN11 - I am sure you will be able to spar with most people if you get a build like that. I am glad you found the exercise worked for you. Baz

  • @BazBlog k sweet, say if iwanted a body like Dave Batista from WWE, what kind of lifting woudl i try?

  • @THEIAN11 - you will have to do heavy weights and do 8-12 reps for each set. That is what builds muscle. Make sure you are eating right. You will need to bulk up quite a bit. Baz

  • @BazBlog alright thank you, i hope you wont mind if i ask you about excercising and working out, because you are very smart about it, and you got a subscriber too :D

  • @THEIAN11 - I will always try to help you if you have a question. Thanks very much for the sub. Baz

  • Haha i dont even think i have traps :P

  • @MrPedosaurusRex - never give up. You can have them but they might not come quickly. Never worry what others think or say either. Do this for yourself. Baz

  • I always feel some wrist strain doing upright rows.

  • @rotarydialz - dont do them then. I would rather do shrugs insead. If you find any discomfort with any exercise then do not do them. You will only do yourself and injury. Find an alternative or a slightly different way of doing them so you are comfortable training pain free. Baz

  • hey mate just another quick question, how do you take your creatine, ive seen videos on youtube of people allowing it dissolve it in warm water and other people eat it and drink water straight after it

and one more thing keep doing what you're doing you're a very inspirational person at 60 years old you're more fit then some 17 year olds ive seen haha

  • @TheMattiiieee I have capsules so I have them with water. When I used powder I would add it to a protein shake about 40 minutes before I train. Thanks very much for the compliment. Baz

  • love your videos Baz - great motivation; thank you.

How many days do you lift weights each week, and how long would a session last for you?

  • @GregTKD100 - thanks so much. I split the body into muscle groups so I train each group 2 times a week. That means I can train for 6 days a week for the 3 muscle groups. Each session is no more then 40 minutes and if I add in aerobics a few times a week then the session will be 1 hour on those days. Baz

  • hey mate i was just wondering, how do you take your creatine, and also do you cycle it? for example 2 weeks on it and 2 weeks of it? cheers

  • @TheMattiiieee - take mine 40 minutes before I train. I always buy a 3 month stock. I take it till it is finshed then I wait a month and then buy again. Baz

  • can i ask what suplement you use ?

  • @OnfgReddax - I use very little. I use creatine, protein powder, omega3 capsules, glucoseamine capsules and a very good multi-vitamin tablet. Baz

  • @BazBlog LOL very little.

  • Nice vid bro :) keep it going

  • @rossboii94 - thanks very much for the compliment. Baz

  • Very well spoken! Thanks heaps Baz! :)

  • @BurntheArtmusic - pleasure my friend. Good luck with your training. Baz

  • You are one down to earth cool dude!!

  • @mike15771 - wow that is a very kind compliment. Baz

  • Hey dude! probs remember me from 2 years back when i was 13/14, i've progressed quite a lot since then, and was wondering, would you send me a workout plan? (i stuck to pushups and situps like u suggested) now i'm 16 and ready to pump my muscles properly ;D :P

  • @breached25 - Yes I do remember you. That is amazing that you have stuck to your training. I am really proud of you. I will send you a plan and am sure you will get some great results. Baz

  • @BazBlog Thanks Baz mate, one thing, i can barely gain weight seeing as i've got a naturally fast metabolism, no matter how much i eat, my weight loss catches up and i can barely hold an extra stone of weight on (which is just fat) for a day lol

  • @breached25 - There should have been a link in the plan I sent you one a great weight gain diet. Baz

  • Hey baz iam 16 years old i want to train my upper body could you give some sort of plan on what body group i should train thanks =)

  • @basse123ify - sure I will send you a plan. Baz

  • @BazBlog i would really like a v-taper opper body..could you send me plan to for this ..it would be really helpful

  • @orlin800 - I will send you a training plan but it is important to know how old you are so you get the right kind of training for the best results. Baz

  • @BazBlog am 17 years old ..soon 18 :-)...and i am in good shape

  • @orlin800 - I will send you some info to help you get what you want. Baz

  • @BazBlog Thank you Your the best

  • @orlin800 - pleasure and thank you. Baz

  • great video excellent advise to build but use heavier weight to get bigger traps.

  • @lextasyls3 - Thanks. Baz

  • Without weights?

  • @vizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - you need weights to stimulate and challenge the muscles. That way they grow. Without weights you will mainly just get fit. Also you will have to do loads of reps. Baz

  • @BazBlog do u have to take protien ?

  • @vizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - Yes protein is the food for muscles. That does not mean you have to have protein shakes. It means that the food you eat has to have the right amount of protein in it for the day. If you are training right and eating right then you will build and maintain your muscles. Baz

  • I'm sorry I talked plain bullshit. Great video, great advice. Simple as that.

  • @Nhordmyr - that is very nice to hear. Thanks so much. Baz

  • Hi Baz. I have watched many of your videos and i must they i have learnt a hell of alot. 2 questions for you? the 1St is my shoulders seem to sit lower down than say my mates at rugby. my shoulders are kinda ' gutter shoulder like' . how get them to sit higher up? The 2Nd is, my traps don't show very much, my shoulders look like gutters in a way. I'm 15 and getting some weights for my birthday in November .Can i build up my traps and get broader, higher, shoulders without weights? Thanks alot

  • @MrRugbyplayer8 - I am glad you have been watching them. The position of them is genetics. You can alter the look by training your traps and getting your shoulders to look much bigger. You do that with shrugs. If you do not have weights you can use grocery bags filled with water bottles. That will work just as well for the time being. You can also do shoulder presses with the water bottles. Baz

  • good video !

  • @VIrishoneV - thanks very much for that. Baz

  • I start shoulders with shoulder dumbbell press with 50 then 40 then 30 lbs-2 sets of 8 then 6 reps in every weight, then shoulder side laterals, back laterals and front laterals with 20-15-10 lbs in every workout and 2 sets of 8 then 6 reps in every weight, and at the end i do bar bell shrugs i start with 245 lbs 2 sets of 8 then 6 reps then 195 lbs 2 sets 12 then 8 reps then 145 lbs 2 sets of 20 then 10 reps, and thats my shoulder workout, is it good or should i change something?? Thanks

  • @ivs010 - that seems like a lot. I only do one main exercise for the shoulders and then 5/6 sets. Baz

  • 2 questions, How many times a week should i do these,i do shoulders then i do barbell shrugs 2 times a week and 2nd how long does it take to see resuls in them getting bigger because i lift more weight with the shrugs but i dont see them getting bigger or comming out. Thanks

  • @ivs010 - 2 times a week is great. I would do 5/6 sets of shruggs and then 5/6 sets of shoulder presses. 8-12 reps per set. If you are eating right you will see some nice changes in about 4 months. Baz

  • Cheers. Great video!!!

  • @synnojd - thanks so much. Baz

  • Liked the vid but try some cardio! You shouldn't be breathing that heavy just talking about lifting weights! ;)

  • @albeeno1981 - you do not know what training I was doing before doing the video. That is not the best thing to say "a person breaths heavy taking about lifting weights". Baz

  • Very nice my friend,I will try these things and let you know how it goes

  • @slimshadey1100 - that would be good and I look forward to hearing from you. Baz

  • Thanks Baz! Nice to see a fellow Southern African showing the way! :)

  • @SeannMarylee - thanks very much for that my friend. I thought at first you said South Africa but it is Southern African which I guess includes Zimbabwe where I come from. Baz

  • Great video thanks.

  • @TerriHogan1 - pleasure my friend. Baz

  • baz i was doin the exercises with you my traps were already startin to strain thnxs m8

  • @iLiKeToBoDyPoP - that is really good to hear. I hope you will get all the results you want. Baz

  • question. will this reduce or stop your hieght growing? and will the traps cover the bones that appears in ym shoulder... eg. for thin ppl

  • @zaitovssilencer - I would not train heavy if you are under 16. To get some muscle on your shoulder it would be better to also do some shoulder presses. How you eat is very important. Baz

  • @BazBlog thanks sir.. i believe u haha

  • @zaitovssilencer - Np and good luck with your training. Baz

  • @BazBlog last, can i do that even if im 14 years old

  • @zaitovssilencer - Yes I think you can but you would probably do better to go quite light with lots of reps. Baz

  • @zaitovssilencer It's a Myth that working out stops your height growing, don't believe it. It's not true, you can workout all you want and you'll still grow taller. My friend started working out heavy when he was 5'9ft now he's 6'1ft and he still does heavy workouts etc.

  • @Nicsvideos96 - that is very dangerous advice to be giving out. Science proves that your bone ends are soft till you mature and you do run the risk of damaging them if you try to go to heavy at a very early age. Some people are very lucky and nothing happens but I certainly would never want to be responsible for causing someone to damage themselves. To wait till they are 16 and then they can train to their hearts content for the next 50+ years. Why rush it to be a hero. Baz

  • when your doing this hold at the top for 3 seconds you should get a better burn..

  • @xxxtsnowman420xxx - You are so right. That is actually what I do when I train. Baz

  • realy nice guy grate help dude thanks

  • @RSpencer88 - thanks so much and good luck with your training. Baz

  • Damn wish i had found your guides sooner there really great.Your the 1st person iv seen on youtube that really makes sense and you seem like a really nice guy :)

Any tips for putting on weight ..Iv tried everything ,even went to the doctors a while ago but he wouldnt help.

Keep up the good work and all the best from England :)

  • @TheZar76 - thanks so much for the compliment. Yes some of the Dr's here in the UK suck. I know I have gone and asked for certain things with very little response. I guess they are worried about how much the NHS spends. I will send you a great way you can put on weight. Baz

  • thnx for guiding............i started following you while i was searching a video for my shoulders............thank god i got your video.......now i m doing exercises more correctly...............thnx again for being such a great guide for me

  • @rohitverma90 - Well I am glad you have found my channel as well. I really hope you will get some great results. Baz

  • my question is if this excercise is gonna seperate the traps from the neck a little bit? i mean is it gonna give the look that my neck is "growing out from my chest" or will it make the neck look a bit longer? sry if its confusing

  • @mindennevfoglalt - It will add thickness to the base of the neck. So I guess it will make the neck look like it is growing out from your chest. It will not make the neck look longer that is for sure. Baz

  • @TheFunnyMonkeyBoy

Bullshit. If you really do train that long you are gonna overtrain and not get results. 2 hours tops.

  • @TheFunnyMonkeyBoy - That is a lot of time for training. Baz

  • @TheFunnyMonkeyBoy - Brilliant. You will not regret proper training. Baz

  • @TheFunnyMonkeyBoy - It is always good to train all muscles. Many people only train a few and then end up with this kind of problem. Baz

  • pip pip cheerio

  • @kabaddifan89 - ;). Baz

  • wow your pretty jacked up from the side view

  • @TheTeamNational - thanks very much. Baz

  • would that work if you did that exact same movement but one shoulder at a time , or does it have to be at the same tim for both shrugs

  • @lingbring - I think you could do one at a time. I have not tried it but I certainly cannot see why it would not work just as well. Try it and see how it works for you. It would be good for you to let us know what you have found. Baz

  • @BazBlog ok thanks for the feed back , oh yea since you actually reply to comments on a regular basis , i was wondering what would be the best workout for ur lats and biceps with out the weights , using Body resistance?

    it would be quite helpfull

  • @lingbring - Pull ups. Wide grip for lats and narrow grip with your palms facing for biceps. Baz

  • Jesus, you are in good shape of an "older man" to be! Damn, would like to look like you when im as old as you! ;-)

  • @Callmydjname - thanks very much that is a nice compliment. Baz

  • hello there...do you mind telling me how many reps and sets?

  • @GeminiGuy88 - I can tell you what I normally do. I do 5/6 sets of 12 reps per set. I hope that will work for you. Baz

  • Helpful vid !

  • @MrSanchezn - thanks very much for that. Baz

  • @MrSanchezn - thanks you so much. Baz

  • Hi! Just wondering, how many times should I be doing this exercise? And the objective is not to use too heavy weights, right?

  • @bookerman - You should train the traps 2 times a week only with a min of 48 hours rest. Up right rowing should not be too heavy but shrugs you can go really quite heavy. Baz

  • Thanks man, you don't seem to be pressuring us too much in your demonstration & I like that. I use a wheelchair & so i use my shoulders a ton. Any exercises we can do from a sitting position to strengthen our muscles is very helpful.

  • @wwwjohn - I think you would really benefit from dumbbell shoulder presses. They will really help you to develop shoulders. I would also do quite a bit of overhead extentions for your triceps. Baz

  • @BazBlog Thank You man; I looked at the exercises & I'll try the dumbbell shoulder presses. Hopefully i can put a short video on Youtube of this within the week. Thank You again man :)

  • @wwwjohn - that is fantastic. Good luck with your training and video. Baz

  • hi Baz can you show us how to do a shoulder press for beginners please? Maybe with dumb-bells as we don't all have the equipment especially if we are just starting out, I have still to get a bench.

  • @TheMrmoonlight - that is a great idea and I will be doing that in time. Baz

  • It's a Trap!

    Sorry couldn't ressist

  • @AdurianJ - :-) Baz

  • @BazBlog Does this exercise also help tone your neck line?

  • @thomas9504 - yes it does help but there is a new video on how to train neck. Baz

  • Thanks for the video mate. Best wishes

  • @ThePiones - pleasure and thank you. Baz

  • very very good video

  • @boratslaya - gee thanks very much. Baz

  • How heavy do these weights need to be for it to be efffective?

  • @Bhavz252 - I think heavy enough so that when you get to the 12 reps it is quite an effort to get your shoulders up. Each person will be different as we all naturally have different strengths. Baz

  • @BazBlog And do you reccomend a certain number of reps

  • @Bhavz252 - Yes I find that 5/6 sets with 8-12 reps with as heavy as I can handle is the best for muscle building. Baz

  • I love your videos, I just found them a few moments ago. I also love your statement about body building is common sense but you don't see people using common sense a lot when they're working out. You see people at the gym doing fast reps and not breathing correctly or at all. You're an inspiration, I hope to see more of your videos.

  • @demonbuddah - thanks very much that is a very nice compliement. There are quite a few for you to look at about 45 vids all in all. Yes taking a bit of time and making each rep count is far better than doing loads of reps for the sake of saying you did a lot. Baz

  • yo bro... thanks alot.. il follow it...

  • @kettavan600028 - excellent and good luck with your training. Baz

  • Ty ty
